This place is affordable, creative and delicious. Never had a problem with service, but be prepared to wait a little while on the weekends.

It’s a long wait to get a table on the weekend but it’s well worth it and it’s a great place to bring kids if you can keep them entertained while you’re waiting for a table. My husband devoured the breakfast burrito enthusiastically and he isn’t a foodie. We love that they use local and organic ingredients and are family owned. The service was friendly and the food was tasty! A treat!

This place was terrible! My breakfast was completely cold(the cook doesn’t put out cold food, the waiter/ess leaves it sitting there) and my eggs were snotty(undercooked) when I told the manager he called me a liar!

Deliciousness in every bite! Thank you Denver for the great breakfasts we had while in town. Of the 4 places we tried 3 were awesome but Early Bird was the winner on freshness, presentation and temperature. Yum! Crème Brulee french toast, ’nuff said!

Great service, tasty breakfast, and reasonable prices. Sometimes you have to wait a while before you get seated, but that’s just happens at quality restaurants.

I’m surprised by all the negative reviews! I was blown away by this place. My boyfriend and I shared the malt Belgian waffle with banana and peanut butter, and the biscuits and gravy. We weren’t disappointed, in fact, we were amazed at how delicious everything was. We had trouble deciding what to order because everything sounded so good. It was indeed very crowded, but it was new years day when we went. Since there were just 2 of us we were seated within 5 minutes. This place may not be the best for big groups, but I was definitely very impressed. We didn’t need to eat again until dinner after this wonderful breakfast to start off 2016.

Was sorely disappointed with this place. I had such high hopes with the high average rating. Here’s the rundown : I ordered the crème brûlée French toast, friends ordered the EBR classic and the huevos rancheros. The food came super fast, a little too fast. It made me wonder about an earlier negative review that suggested that the food was pre-made and simply reheated. I tend to agree with that now since the sausage was cooked through but it was cold. And the French toast was tough? I don’t know how else to explain. Go to the Egg & I instead.

Trying way too hard, breakfast food should not be so complicated. The attempts to be creative and different are appreciated, however these combinations don’t make any culinary sense, prosciutto and arugula go together but not with BBQ pork. Call me crazy but Eggs Benedict should have some form of hollandaise? Chicken and waffles with eggs are super but with Brussel sprouts and spinach? The chicken also tasted like an old lady sprayed her perfume in my mouth. Actually everything tasted pretty terrible except the potatoes, coffee and OJ. I get what they are going for but pump the brakes man. Your food cost must be outta control too. Good point? If you wanna lose weight eat here, it’s so inedible it ruined food for me. I shan’t be eating any time soon. Also I just wasted $ 40. Less is more my friends, I get what your going for but perhaps consider simplifying your menu.

So, why just OK? There are many positives to this restaurant, but one big negative, for me, drops it to 3 stars. I ordered the«MYBOYBLUE2.0 Fried chicken. crispy Brussels. sautéed spinach. 2 poached eggs. bacon» which came with: 1. Waffle — just the right size and texture. 2. Brussel Sprouts — perfect in every way. 3. Spinach — good. Not over cooked. 4. Eggs — poached to soft, runny perfection. 5. Bacon — one large, tasty piece. 6. Potatoes — homemade and crispy. Well matched with the hot sauce I added. 7. «Chicken» — Sysco’s version of McNuggets(3 pieces). This is not chicken. Chicken is a chunk of bird flesh connected to some bones. Whoever thought McNuggets would be a good idea here should be chastised and banished from the kitchen. + Hostess. Friendly and competent in dealing the Sunday morning crush. + Waitress. Excellent. Explained certain nuances of the menu. Kept our coffee mugs filled. + Flatware. Medium weight Walco stainless. + Napkins. Large white cotton. + Atmosphere. Cozy and boisterous at the same time. Quire enjoyable. + Food. 90+% is very good. + Novo coffee.

I want to like this place because it’s one of the only non-chain breakfast places in the area and the menu always looks promising but in the two times I’ve been, I just haven’t been impressed. The servers don’t go out of their way to act friendly and the food just really falls flat. My omelet was severely under-seasoned and painfully bland and while the tacos I ordered the second time around were a definite improvement, they still didn’t blow my taste buds away. P. S. Steer clear of the peanut butter pancakes. My mom ordered them and they were DROWNING in an ABSURD amount of peanut butter. She tried her best to scrape it off but it was pretty much a lost cause. She’s too nice to say anything or send her food back but if it had been me, I would not have hesitated.

we were on our way to a wedding ceremony and i knew i wouldn’t be able to eat any of the food. i also didn’t want to starve until dinner so decided to bring my own breakfast or lunch. our family recommended this place and so we placed an order to go. when we arrived i could tell that this place was popular — they were packed! we went inside and i got my order. i was excited that they had gluten free items and couldn’t decide between all the options, so i got two orders of the johnny cakes. one with dark chocolate chunks and bacon and the other with maple syrup and butter. i eagerly started eating my food once we arrived at «chateaux at fox meadows.» everything was packed nicely and i was starving! sadly, i was very disappointed in my food. the johnny cakes were very heavy, very bland, and the texture was just awful. even the toppings didn’t help. the chocolate chunks and bacon just didn’t work. the chocolate chunks were suppose to be dark chocolate, but it was very sweet. the maple syrup was yucky and it wasn’t even real maple syrup, but that cheap crap that is mostly high fructose corn syrup or something similarly gross. i had other family members try the johnny cakes and everyone agreed that it was not edible. it went to waste and i was irritated as it was pricey. this is a place that i wouldn’t return to. please at least use 100% pure maple syrup!

Have been here twice in 4 days for breakfast – really popular, busy place! Service is really crisp – they have the place well staffed! The omelets are great! Lots of flavor in the eggs and the ingredients(tomatoes, cheeses, arugula, various meats) are all fresh and flavorful. The French toast was crispy and yummy! Loved the potatoes – texture was crispy and again, good seasonings. Definitely plan on a wait on the weekends, but it’s only 15 minutes or so, well worth it!

Ahhh my favorite breakfast place in Westminster! It is fairly small and feels like a little family owned café. The only downside is that they are ALWAYS busy and you have to wait forever to get a table. But the service is always awesome. They make amazing chai lattes. But the food… ohhh the food… it’s delicious! Mmm I wish I could eat there every day! I work in the service industry so I probably pick up on more than most patrons when I go out to eat… but every time that I am there I am amazed by how well the staff works together as a team. They are a well oiled machine and I am very impressed!

Loved this place! It gets pretty busy, so expect a wait on a weekend. I ate The East Boulder(an open faced omelet with spinach, mushrooms and goat cheese, topped with some arugula) with a slice of toast(fresh, sourdough) and potatoes. They make their own in-house jam for your toast, as well as fresh ketchup and hot sauce. Enjoyed both of them! My friend had the cremé brûlée French toast, topped with fresh fruit and whipped cream and a side of bacon. She loved her meal! Great coffee, too. Will definitely be back, but maybe during the week or at an off time to avoid the crowds!

Wonderful place to have a great breakfast! I never knew this place existed until I Unilocaled for breakfast. It’s tucked between a Yoga place and a larger restaurant off 120th. We arrived at 7am, just in time bc the place had at least 10 tables full by 730am. Goes to tell you something good is cooking here. I opted for eggs, potatoes, ham, and toast and crème brûlée French toast to share. Everything arrived hot and seasoned just right. I love the EB toast with strawberry jam which I actually used for the French toast to make them that much better! Yum! Although the sausage gravy lacked a littleness the flavor dept, it worked on my garlic potatoes without overpowering the dish. Definitely a place to try for a great breakfast. You won’t be disappointed by the menu offerings here!

Nice little brunch spot nestled in Bradburn row. Full to overflowing mid-morning on a Saturday. In spite of the crowds, service was fast and super friendly. It had a fun, casual Boulder vibe. My daughter and I had a couple different benedicts — a standard bennie and their«Early Bird» bennie with BBQ pulled pork, prosciutto and arugula. Poached eggs were a little undercooked on both and the hollandaise sauce on the standard bennie was grainy and lacking acid. The pulled pork and arugula was quite nice. The breakfast potatoes served with these were perfect — golden and crispy. What really caught us by surprise was the hot sauce. We asked for a side of hot sauce expecting Tobasco or some similar. Instead, we were served their house sauce which was about halfway between a hot sauce and a salsa. We loved it so much I bought a bottle at checkout. Although the bennies didn’t knock our socks off, The Early Bird was a cool enough spot with such great service that we’ll be back to explore the rest of the menu.

I really can’t say enough good things about our experience with the Early Bird Restaurant, but I’ll specify several… 1. This restaurant has great outdoor seating and allows dogs on their patio. This was a huge plus as we had 3 dogs in our party. They even brought out water for the dogs. Definitely didn’t have to, but they did, which was super-nice of them. 2. The food was amazing. Their menu is varied, sources a lot of local ingredients, and the dishes feel familiar despite some eclectic flair. I had the EBR Breakfast Club, a fun take on Eggs Benedict that included turkey, bacon, guacamole, and swiss cheese. Because I was worried I would miss out, I also ordered their müesli, which included fresh fruit and granola. It was nothing short of fantastic. 3. The prices were very reasonable considering the quality and portion size. 4. The waitstaff was very friendly and service was prompt. Bottom Line: If you’re in or near Westminster, CO, and you eat breakfast(which you should) this is where you should eat it.

Skipped the wait at Snooze AM and found this gem instead. This place was easy to locate using GPS and had plenty of free parking, I love free parking. We were greeted by friendly staff and got to choose our seats(inside or outside). We sat inside and ordered the classic Benedict, pulled pork Benedict, crème brûlée French toast, and a soy vanilla latte. When the food came out, I was taken aback with the difference in food portions between the classic and pulled pork. Early bird does not hold back on that pulled pork; though, the taste was a little too sweet for me. The crème brûlée French toast was amazing and not soggy! The toast had the distinct flavor of crème brûlée with a crispy outer and soft interior. My friend liked her classic bene but we both agreed that the French toast stole our hearts! I give this place 4 stars overall.

We were seated as soon as we got in, which was nice for it being so busy. After flying on a super early morning flight, we were all starving, this place came to the rescue! I had the crème brûlée pancakes with berries, sooo delicious, I can’t compare it to anything else I’ve had, definitely a unique dish. The coffee was also good. I also had half of my friend’s beni, it was also delish. I will return when we visit the area again.
