The snowbird is there speciality. It’s a blended espresso drink. Very sweet, but great flavor. The coffee was decent, more bitter then other roasters.

Meh. It’s not the best coffeehouse but … Atmosphere is cute, very coffeehouseish, plenty of various seating areas. Everything could use a fresh coat of paint tho, not sure if they are going for the lived-in look, but the pealing paint and things that have come unglued from the walls looks like décor is not a priority. Especially since most of the painting and décor was from years ago when it was The Pour House. Staff… Well… There is a guy that works there, has always been nice but the owner… tried chatting with her a few times and she looks at me like I am bothering her. Not what I would call the friendliest person around. Food is decent, but nothing spectacular. The variety is great but it’s just really overpriced for what it is, smallish and thrown together, like it was made in a rush. Last but not least, their drinks. They make some pretty good fruit smoothies. Coffees and teas seem decent enough. I don’t go out of my way for Birdies but if we’re on Main St, and just getting drinks then I’ll stop in. Would love to give a better review and will if my experience changes.

Unique area, food was average… and their service was pretty rude… 2 stars for cool location but I will not be coming back

You might enjoy the ambience. You might even enjoy the food. What you won’t enjoy is the coffee, which ought to be the raison d’être for this shop’s existence. The baristas don’t know how to make a decent cup of cappuccino. The espresso was weak and the milk was scalded. I figured this was a one-off, maybe someone was having a bad day, so I went back. This time, the milk was scalded so badly that it smelled burnt. It was undrinkable. If you want cute, by all means stop by and have a cookie. But don’t bother with the coffee.

I have been coming to this place for years. Never have been disappointed. The Cappuccino is my main choice along with a sweet treat to enjoy. The staff are friendly and always fun to banter with. I enjoy sitting and reading the paper when I can and chat with others. It is nice to have a local place to grab a cup and relax for a bit. Whenever I am in Westminster, Birdie’s is on my list of places to shop at. They always have some interesting coffee beans to sell.

Such a cozy and inviting coffee shop. It’s a great place to come and enjoy a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich or bowl of oatmeal in the morning. The décor is inspiring and the staff are always knowledgeable and friendly.

Love this place. Cozy atmosphere, great food and even better staff. I went in because of the big and beautiful gay flag they were flying, I immediately felt welcomed and accepted and love them for flying it high and proud!!!

The oasis of Main St. The coffee/latte selection is huge and the food selection is ridiculous. You can relax in a comfy chair or have a meeting with 30 people, or both! The owner is fun and personable, and the environment is just fantastic. It’s classy and casual at the same time. Love it!

Forego the drama with that silly red cup and head to Birdie’s for a true holiday treat. The return of this charming yet funky café’s signature Eggnog Latte is a highlight of this festive season. The combination of steamed eggnog and delicious coffee is something that made me exclaim, pardon the language, «This is F**king AMAZING!». It is not an exaggeration to say that this drink will change your life. Ok, maybe a little exaggerated… but still!

Just like the old coffee shop which was here and I missed that one. Good coffee, pleasant employees, friendly atmosphere. Wish they had a bold coffee offering, but I am a bit odd and like very bold coffee.

Had a quick dinner here. Nice place, lot of room, friendly staff. Food was very good. Only comment is plates looked kind of empty with only the sandwich. Thought it would come with a few chips or a side.

What a stellar find! Just looking for lunch while in Westminster for McDaniel college tour & we got lucky when we landed here for lunch. Gluten free bread & coconut cupcake — heaven! Also very friendly and cozy place to hang out.

First and foremost I love the ambiance of this coffeehouse. The décor and furnishings on the inside are creative, comfortable and warming. They have a pretty eclectic and vast menu compared to previous years and it’s the only place in Westminster where I can get my lox bagel fix! They even have gluten free muffins and pastries as well as soy and almond milk alternatives for those with food allergies. The baristas are always friendly and welcoming when you walk in the door. I love coming here to get away for a little while. There are plenty of board games and books to use while you’re there so a quick trip can turn into a few hour retreat!

I really like Birdie’s! Got the Oatmeal, which was a little too sweet, but rich and delicious still.
