91 East Salon and Spa

I had the worst experience EVER with this salon I go goto the gym where the salon is located decide! To give them a try. The stylist completely ruined my hair now having Orange and yellow hair i don’t even want to go out side with it I called the manager seeing what they can do to help & they said there is nothing they can do! I just want my hair acceptable & they couldn’t do that such a horrible situation they should have helped and they wouldn’t! Do not go there!

I never been here before today. My aunt told me about this place. Karis is absolutely amazing!!! :) I have crazy curly, frizzy kind of hair… & Karis really knows her stuff! I’m so happy I found her! Thank you so much! I’ll definitely be back soon! :-)

I get my eyelashes done by Bailey, She does a wonderful job and is always on time. They are very competitive with the prices as well!!!

Don’t go here if you actually want your stylist to show up. I had a 9am appointment and when I arrived the doors to the salon weren’t even open which was a bit confusing since it was my first time at this salon. I ended up walking around the building before deciding to enter through the gym (where again the doors were locked). I waiting for over 10 minutes and my stylist was a no show. In the service industry, this is so completely unacceptable. A stylist should be getting to work early to set up for clients and be ready for the day. Even if the stylist finally showed up late — do I really want someone to touch my hair who just rolled out of bed and is running late? Do I really want someone to rush through my appointment so that they aren’t backlogged for the day? Absolutely not. By the way, said stylist could have called in to give an update as to her status, etc… but no…
Although the acts of this specific individual might not necessarily speak for the entire establishment, it appears as though there are not checks and balances at the salon and whoever is running the salon needs to step up operations.
Further, the salon texted me twice over the weekend (which is annoying) confirming my appointment and I was very responsive to their requests for confirmation. This experience is so unacceptable. Not only did I not get my hair done, but I had to pay a babysitter for the 2.5 hours I had booked her for the day. I obviously would never recommend this unprofessional salon.

Bailey is the best lash gal around. Very fast and friendly. I have always been happy with the service here.

Alisha is the stylist that I depend upon here at 91 East. I’ve actually followed her around stalking, really — so that my hair & my roots never go a few months without seeing her. Anyway, she’s an expert at colour and her haircuts always grow out so that they are wearable (instead of hideous).
This is a small shop with stylists that have fun and do great work.
