North Brothers Ford

The service i received at North Brothers Ford was completely unacceptable. I turned my car into you at 9am on ¹²⁄₂₁ and it wasn’t even in the bay until the evening on ¹²⁄₂₂. After repeated back and fourth calls, you finally got me a loaner car on ¹²⁄₂₃ and told me that it would be completed by ¹²⁄₂₈. On ¹²⁄₂₉ you tell me I can pick up my car. I come in, my service rep who I have literally talked to everyday for a week does not greet me the entire time I am waiting for my car. There is no manager who comes to apologize for the delay or inconvenience. And the topping on the cake is that i get in my car and the fuel light is on. Is this really how you should return a car to a customer? Worst customer service of my life

This concerns the body shop. I brought my car in for an estimate on a dent. They were friendly and attentive. We set up an appointment to bring it in for repairs. I couldn’t make that appointment and had to reschedule. I realized that I would need a rental car. I called my insurance and they told me the dealership should have set that up for me. Okay. I left two messages 3 – 4 days in advance of my appointment during regular business hours. No return calls. No reminder call of my upcoming appointment. I couldn’t get a hold of anyone So I didn’t bring my car in for repairs. Still haven’t hear from anyone, even about the failure to drop off my car. Disappointed in their customer service. Now I have to start the process over somewhere else.

I worked with sales rep David Johnson to get my 2015 Edge. He was very professional and courteous in helping me secure my vehicle. I am a physician and work long hours. David stayed late (2 hours after close till 11pm) in order for me to take advantage of great rebates that would have expired at midnight. He is honest and has integrity which is not surprising given his military service. He is committed to the customer and an overall great person. I highly recommend David to anyone who wants a good deal without all the pressure some sales people give you.

Great service at a good price. They also don’t try to sell you services that you don’t need.

There are currently 2 recalls on my 2002 Windstar. My friend took his to Bill Brown and dropped it off at 7am. By 10am, he received a call with inspection results and was told what the next steps would be for his vehicle.
My neighbor had had a bad customer experience at Bill Brown, so I decided to take our van to North Brothers Ford to give them a try. Well, my van was checked in before 7:30am and I called them at 1:30pm to check the status of the vehicle. I was told they had not looked at it yet, they had a couple of techs out, and they would see what was going on and give me a call back. I waited until 3pm, called them, and got the service person’s voice-​mail. I found a ride to the dealership and received a call from them while en-​route. They told me they would «try» to get to it today, but most likely would be the following day. I told them I was going to the dealership to pick up my van because I can’t be without the vehicle I use to get to/​from work. They apologized for giving me the impression that they would look at it the same day.
So my thought is this, if they can’t even «look» at my vehicle on the day I take it in, then why can’t they be up-​front about it and say, «Sir, let’s bring your vehicle in tomorrow when we can look at it.» No, they hold the vehicle and take a look at it when they around to it. I found on the internet that the inspection my vehicle requires takes no more than 30 minutes to make a disposition of next steps.
I took my vehicle back and scheduled an appointment with Bill Brown. Though they won’t be able to get it in until next week, I would prefer them tell me up-​front when they will get to it, have me drop it off on that day, and also have them look at it on the day I dropped it off.
Needless to say, I was disappointed with the North Brothers Ford experience. They may be a great shop, but I would advise people going there to get a commitment from them as to when their vehicle will be tended to (instead of assuming that they’ll look at it the day you drop it off).
