Best bar burger we ever had. Went in after going to the hospital. Husband was so down. Mom had just passed. Kitchen had just closed. Cook was still there. He heard us talking to the bartender and just offered to cook our food. We tried to tip him and he wouldn’t take it. Drinks where a generous pour. We always wanted to stop in. Parking lot is always full. Best decision we made. Bern back 2 more times and always goid food and service.

Band was good. Waitress tried to screw us out of our change. For some reason they can’t make you change instantly they have to go to the bar. Then she didn’t come back for a long time. I had gave her a 10 for a 3.50 beer. When she finally came back I ordered another, still no change. She brought the beer back and walked away about three steps then turned back and said it was $ 3.50. I said how about my change! She said oh yeah and left again. She brought back $ 1.50. It was supposed to be $ 3. My wife asked her again about this. Then she brought back the other $ 1.50. She would have had this $ in tips if she wasn’t such a scammer. If you go to this bar, watch your money!

Crystals is a great neighborhood bar with very good prices and good bar food. The atmosphere however is often dull when there is no live music due to the fact that the only music provided is via jukebox, and said jukebox goes silent if you don’t pump money into it. There are several hour long periods spent at Crystals sitting in silence because nobody wants to drop $ 5 on 10 minutes worth of music. If they want to make money off of the jukebox then that’s understandable, but when people choose not to spend on the jukebox they shouldn’t be put on a music timeout. The establishment should do the respectable thing and play songs at random or play the radio in between music purchases to keep the patrons happy. The friendly staff and low prices keep us coming back but we never stay for long due to the full atmosphere.

Went for the Monday night steak special. It was 7.95 and includes a pretty good sized steak, baked potato or fries, soup or salad, and green beans. We got mozzarella sticks, one pop, and one beer. Our total was close to $ 36 for three people. You can’t beat it for a good steak dinner. My only complaint was that it was a little dark and could use more lighting.

Went back to the Crystal Bar and Gril for a birthday party. The band was awesome. Also, we had dinner — fish and chips — which was quite good. We split it because the amount of food was enormous. This place is generally for an older crowd, so if you are 30 or younger you may not want to go to this particular venue. There is a patio that they recently(within the last year) added basically for smokers. The parking lot is maybe enough for 30 cars, but there is a small strip mall next to it and most of the stores close around 9ish and then across the street is parking, but beware especially after you come out because the street is a main thoroughfare! Don’t want anyone to get hit by a car if you know what I mean! The owners are great, the wait staff are friendly.

Agreed with the people saying it’s an older crowd. I just went with a group for dinner on a weekday, so wasn’t expecting anything other than what we got anyway, but still. It was us and three or four 60-year-old men. Our waitress was rude, and almost wouldn’t let me order a drink even after she saw my ID. I’m 23 and I know I look 18 at best, but I was still a little offended that I had to explain this to her. The food was standard bar fare. Good stuff, but nothing special.

Great place for lunch or early dinner. A varied menu provides something for everyone. Great service and specials. TVs are all over the place for the sports enthusiast. Pool and darts are available for the rest of us. There is a great new patio that will be available for dining in the spring. There is a smokers tent out there now. No more standing in the weather!

This is my sister’s favorite bar and grill. It’s near her home and features live entertainment. The band was very good, but when a singer/guitarist named Frank Griffin(I think that was his name) went up to play with the band… it went from being very good to being absolutely fantastic! My sister, Debbie Z, enjoyed herself to the max. I was the designated driver so I ordered their chicken strips which were huge and the fries were better than most places. I had fun watching my sister have fun. She danced and danced and even managed to get my up on the dance floor for a dance.(I did it for her). We had a great time. I just wish they had a bigger parking lot. It was a bit of a squeeze and difficult to maneuver… A fun time was had by all. ;)

I love going here because I am 27 and feel like an 18 year old prom queen… This bar is not for the youngsters and by youngsters I do not mean 18 – 21. I mean the main crowd is over 45. If you are cool with partying with people who remember life before 8-tracks, you’ll be fine. The bar maids are my age, so I got someone to talk to if my girlfriend is busy socializing with her bar pals. The bar maids are cute, but on a busy night, are hard to flag down at times.
The food is good for bar food. I bid adieu to being a vegetarian when I drink at times and the chicken fingers with fries hit the spot. It maybe just me, but whenever I have ordered a cranberry and house vodka, it taste REALLY watered down. I even let my friend try it and she doesn’t have the Irish/German(weekend binge drinker) blood I have, so ask them to make it strong! They usually have live bands that play Cher/Cheap Trick/California Raisins(Marvin Gaye?) One band that was fronted by a young lady covered Lady Gaga, which pleased me greatly. The dance floor is small and its usually packed, but not too hard to move around. Just be sure to come before 11 on the weekends so you can find a parking spot or you may have to park across the street. There is no cover and they also offer pool and darts.

I’ve been here twice with a Groupon… The first time we went it was a Friday night and they were starting to get busy. Our waitress finally came over after about 5 minutes and ordered some drinks. She came back with them 10 minutes later and took out order. She kind of had an attitude and didn’t smile and was super slow replacing our empty beers but whatever… We ordered steak bites as an appetizer and 2 fish and chip dinners and it took FOREVER to get our food. The steak bites were TODIEFOR! I want to say it was filet, it was so tender and flavorful, no fat at all. It was served with garlic bread. The our fish came out and it was equally as good as the steak bites! We asked for it well done and it was. No gooey batter anywhere! The coleslaw was pretty good too, depends on how you like it. The food was so good we forgot how annoyed we were by our waitress. We were here a total of 2 hours. Kinda ridiculous for fish n chips. The second time was weird. It was a Saturday night around 9 and it was dead. We had a different waitress and she was just as blah as our last one.(I felt like someone held a gun to her head and forced her to take that job and it was the worst thing ever.) This time we ordered 2 steak bites, fish n chips and a burger. I had hyped these steak bites up so much that I was excited for my steak-loving friends to try them. When we finally got them they were the total opposite of what I ate the week before. Rubbery, grissley, and just not good at all. Definitley not a filet. The burger was over cooked and sloppy.(You could tell it was a frozen patty from GFS.) But the fish n chips were as good as they were the time before. The portion was bigger too. I give this place 3 stars because it was worth it for what we paid. They need to retrain their staff in SMILING.
