GetGo

This place kept my husband and I from getting stranded. Hubby and I drove in from Pitt to Clev to catch a flight and ended up arriving on fumes. Well when we returned at 1am there was no gas station in sight that was open. We drove to about 3 gas stations and all were closed.
Fortunately, the GetGos tend to be awesome and stay open late (but I called just to make sure). The drive there was slow and we coasted for a while in hopes to make it, which we did!!.
Now, I am not familiar with Cleveland and surrounding areas but this gas station was in a pretty decent area and really loved the fact that there was a cop to ensure patron safety. Customer service was cordial and had a great selection of energy drinks to take on the road for a 2 hr drive in the wee hours of the night.

When I found out that Get Go was moving in, and that it had hours until the wee morning, I probably could have wee’d myself. It is like having a full grocery store right down the street.
It’s got gas, but that’s not what is important.
What is important is that they have f’real milkshakes. These are amazing. You need to try one. Anytime when you want a milkshake stop by, especially if you don’t want to make the time investment of going to Friendly’s right down the street.

. Yes… it’s a WET Go

The WET is for their car wash. Or, maybe the restrooms? Not sure. Probably both. I can’t believe that I’m reviewing a gas station. (That reminds me… there’s a recently exposed wide open gaping pot hole on West 150^th, that I should write a 5 star review on, just because it’s AWESOME, ENGAGING, disintegrated PERFECTION, will instantly take you to ANOTHER LEVEL… and it’s LOCAL.)
I’m probably uninformed — and foolish — but to me, Gas is Gas is Gas. I’ ve always pumped the one «in the middle», and my cars have run just fine. Actually, this review is not for gas — or the car wash or the restrooms. It’s for a refreshing cold beverage. An ICY cold one. Even with the wind chill at 30 below lately, eat something HOT just to sip this fruity sweet treat, bursting with flavorful teeth-​chattering frozen crystals.
SUPER BERRY SMOOTHIE
I’ve known only a few «smoothies» in my life — from various spots — and never wanted to try a second one from any of them. THIS one, however, is brrrfection. (couldn’t resist.) It IS very sweet — much too sweet for a single session, so I refrigerate it, then savor for 2 – 3 days.
I had received a FREE beverage coupon — and other decent food discounts (BOGO hoagies, appetizers, etc) — from GetGo. Nice job, GE. Maybe because this location had just opened days before my first stop, we didn’t care for the 4 or 5 food items, but by now those expected kinks may have ironed themselves out, so give it a try for something quick to eat after gassing up. But that SMOOTHIE? GetGoGotMeFromTheGetGo (I’m shamless) — I’ve had probably 9 in the past 3 months. Check the GE GetGo site for other locations serving made-​to-​order beverages, and use your GE card when purchasing. The 5^th or 6^th beverage is FREE. And get whipped cream on top ! It tastes like the real thing — from an udder — not some laboratory beaker.
