How can anyone even complain about trader joes? This place is my safe haven. I trust everyone who works here. I think I’ll have my wedding here. It’s cheaper than whole foods and sprouts, less variety but the simplicity is what keeps me going there.

Usually love the staff here but wow went there today and the checker was extremely rude and discourteous. Krystal basically thru every item into our two bags and when she grabbed our apples I asked to take them so they would not get bruised, she then made a face and continued to throw everything else into our bags with quite a bit of force. We have never seen someone do this at a grocery store before, was rather shocking. Especially for the price we pay for groceries these days, and of course to have bruised apples defeats having fresh fruit cuz they are pretty much a horrible mushy mess. Hope TJ’s can counsel this girl in appropriate bagging with a smile. She seemed unhappy and angry.

Been coming here for a while. Love the products and the employees. The samples are always original and delicious. Only draw back is the parking lot. At peak times it can be crowded.

This trader joes is the best! They have friendly employees and great selections. I love doing my shopping here because I know I will always receive great customer service. I am able to find all of my vegetarian needs here and that’s the best. They have such a wide selection of tofu options ranging from cold to hot items. Also, when it hits autumn time trader joes has the best seasonal items. This includes the frozen pie crusts, amazing pumpkin cookie butter, and recipes on the back of all of their cans for thanksgiving and holidays. I made a whole thanksgiving menu from trader joes ingredients!
Overall: convenient, clean, and friendly atmosphere and employees.

Like be Trader Joes. The quality of the food is so much better than Von’s or other stores in the area. It’s a really good place if your a vegetarian tons of things to choice from. The website is an amazing source of great ideas for dinners. Check it out before you. And if you need help finding anything on your list the staff is supper helpful and will drop everything to find you the most random item on the other side of the store if needed.

this has got to be the best Trader Joe’s anywhere in the U.S. The variety was stunning– so much greater than in any Manhattan Trader Joe’s. It was such a pleasure to shop here– what a contrast with the painful experience at the Union Square store in NYC!

I love this TJs and the one in Palm Springs and La Quinta! They are always very professional, tentative, and respectful towards customers! I have never had any issues in any of the TJs with the exception of the one in Thousand Oaks. For some reason, some of the employees at the T. O Store think that customers have to put up with their attitudes! Not all the employees at the T.O. Store are like that. Most of them are very tentaive and respectful, but some of them are something else! One of them had the nerve to say that she would call the police if I complain about her extremely rude and unacceptable behavior! Anyway, I stay away from the T.O. Store because I do not have the time to deal with it! Life is too short so peace!

Very nice TJ’s near BJ’s Brewhouse in Westlake.
Most Trader Joe’s are nice, but this one is especially clean, modern, and well laid out. Parking can get a bit tight due to the popularity of this strip mall, but patience always pays off.
The employees are friendly, the selection is great and the overall shopping atmosphere is 4 – 5 stars.

First time at this Trader Joe’s location tonight around 6:30 pm.
Walked up to a woman who was working with the cheeses.
Me: Sorry, could I ask you a question.
She looked at me, scowled, and did not say anything.
Me: I’m trying to find the fresh pesto.
After a five second delay during which she just looked irritated she said, «it’s over there in that case over there.» She didn’t actually point at anything; I had to guess which one she was referring to.
Me: Thank you…
Seriously, the most unpleasant, unfriendly TJ’s employee I’ve ever encountered. I really hope she wasn’t representative of the customer service here.
I found what I was looking for, no thanks to her.
PS. Someone posted a comment suggesting that the person I encountered wasn’t actually a staff member. Trust me, she was — Trader Joe’s sweatshirt, opening boxes of cheese, loading them into the cooler. She was just the rudest TJ’s employee I’ve ever encountered.

Probably the highest honor I can give every Trader Joe’s is that I feel like family here. TJs must treat their employees very well, all of them are extremely happy here. And I’m talking about every TJs I’ve ever been in.
This store in particular is nicer and larger than the one close to my house. I’m not a fan of every Trader Joes brand but they’ve got some stuff here that is fantastic and just can’t be matched.

I love Trader Joe’s!
This is a great location right on Thousand Oaks Blvd with plenty of parking.
The products are just freaking fabulous!
Over time we have tried about any and everything they have and its all been more or less top notch!
Newest obsession, the smores ice cream sandwiches, yuuum!
Another highlight would be the samples, they really go all out, its been tacos with salsa and guac, pulled pork sammies with chips and last weekend stuffed peppers and microgreens. Plates, for free!!!
How can you not give them 5 stars?!!
Prices are more than fair, in fact the cheapest you will find at any healthier or organic chain.
Feel good shopping at good prices with super nice, always helpful staff!

I’ve been coming to this location since I was a kid and I’ve never met a rude staff member, they are all very friendly and helpful!

I love trader joes! Trader joes has good prices and great healthy foods! I recently started trying to lose weight and managed to fill up my cart to the top and not blowing my budget. They had a great selection at this location of fresh veggies and fruit.
The downside? Well it is always super crowded and the aisles are extremely small and tight. Two people with carts will bump into each other in the aisles. I constantly had to move my cart at every aisle and jumping around people. Not my idea of a good time. Expand your store people!
