Sea Casa has great tacos! We make special dietary requests which alter the typical way the food appears on the menu and our requests are always honored — no problemo! Our family enjoys dining al fresco on the patio. If you’re looking for a super casual, quick, but yummy lunch, Sea Casa is a great find. You can also text ahead and have your order ready upon arrival which is a great time saver! It’s a busy place, but that’s because the food is so tasty.

I have only had the Healthy & Fit Burrito with chicken and it’s delish! It will fill you up so make sure you’re hungry or share it with someone. The outside seating is nice when we have perfect Cali weather, which is almost always. They can be very busy during lunch hours so order ahead via texting if you can or plan to wait a bit.

The food is good, however two separate times I ordered kids meals and they did NOT come with the items listed on their website menu. When I called to speak with someone about it shortly after I picked up my food(my to-go order was tied up in plastic bags and I didn’t notice until I got home) the«manager» I talked to said that because I ordered a kids meal with the«bean and cheese burrito» the beans that would have come on the side are IN the burrito(please note — that’s not what their website says). «Ok, what about the nacho meal?» I asked him«That meal doesn’t come with sides». This was just bull. I find it hard to believe that I happened to order the 2 kids meals that don’t come with sides(again — even though their website menu says all the kids meals do). They clearly messed up and didn’t add these things to my order OR their website is incorrect. Instead of noticing I ordered $ 50 worth of food, telling me they made a mistake and would make up for it the next time I came in, the man continued to argue with me. OVERBEANSANDRICE. If you can’t take care of your customer and at the very least provide them with what your menu says they are ordering then I am NOT going to give you money or be a returning customer. I will be buying burritos someplace else. And to the people that run The Sea Casa, Never in my life have I gotten into an argument with a restaurant over a kids meal. If I place a take-out order with kids meals in it that means I probably have KIDSATHOME. That was not the way I needed to end my day, especially when I figured I was making my night easier by picking up food for my family(instead of just melting cheese onto chips for them myself. Except I would’ve included the ¼ cup of rice & beans) Your manager — who was a young man — needs a lesson in speaking to customers that pay for your services/food. And no, I do not want a coupon/discount to make up for this. For me this is not about the child sized side items I did not receive, it’s about the way your employee spoke to me so condescendingly for about 10 minutes. If he was willing to speak to a paying customer the way he did I do not trust him to prepare my child’s food.

I’ve never had a bad meal here. The Baja-style fish tacos are fantastic. I also love their burritos: La Bamba, Big Wave and Malibu-ritto. They also have pretty OK horchata; it’s not homemade but still good. It is awesome to dine on the patio and relax to the cool jams of Bob Marley that they pipe in. Here’s a tip: beat the lunch line by texting you order to(805) 298‑3499. It works every time.

Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with this place. Last night I was craving Mexican and I’m not feelin chipotle these days and there’s no poquito mas in our area, so I thought I will pick up a burrito here. I moved into the area a year ago and remembered that my friend who lives here had recommended it. The man at the register was not friendly, handed my my food in a very small paper bag that was ripping and didn’t have enough room so I had to hug the bag and do a balancing act not to drop my little containers of salsa. Typically such restaurants have additional bags at the salsa bar but they didn’t and couldn’t be bothered to give me a plastic bag to put everything in. Then I come home thinking at least the California chicken burrito I got will taste good because it has very interesting ingredients but was even more disappointed with how tasteless a burrito could be! I was piling on salsa and hot sauce to give it a little flavor but nothing helped. I was only able to force myself to eat half. In addition each burrito is about $ 10 which is more expensive than chipotle, Baja Fresh, and poquito mas.

So far, I have tried their quesadilla and burritos. The spinach-mushroom quesadilla is amazing. The chicken quesadilla is pretty tasty too. I did not give them 5 stars because the California burrito was not so good. It had soggy French fries in the burrito. Strange and bland tasting. I took all the fries out and ended up with just bread and chicken. Not so good! I will go back for the quesadilla but not the burrito.

The food is amazing, been eating here since 1997! — Get the California burrito with chicken, you’ll love it! — All the burritos can be made into a bowl(minus the tortilla) Always fresh and busy!

I was really disappointed when I ate here today. I got the la bamba burrito, and it was lacking in flavor. The whole burrito was basically just chicken and beans… Where was the sour cream, guacamole, cheese, and rice? Mexican food is supposed to be flavorful and delicious. I would have rather gone to Taco Bell, and for almost $ 10 I could have gotten a lot of food!

I went here today to grab some lunch. I ordered the Taco Platter, which comes with two tacos, with rice and your choice of pinto or black beans. My first taco didn’t have a lot of cheese, so it was a little dry. I put lime on my taco and it tasted way better. The seats were dirty and not cleaned by the staff, and the floor was dirty was as well. There was random dirty rag in the corner on the floor! The staff isn’t really friendly. The salsas didn’t make the taco or any of my food taste better. The Tomato Roasted salsa only tasted like pepper. In the end, the food was really tasty and filling.

Alright, so I may have been spoiled by the Mexican food in Long Beach, but I wasn’t expecting anything grand coming here. I got the la bamba burrito, and wow was I disappointed. Very bland flavors, the burrito was so dry it felt like I was on the verge of an asthma attack with every bite, the pico de gallo was an insult to my intelligence. On top of everything it was nearly $ 9 for the burrito, and $ 3 for chips and the sad excuse for salsa. I paid $ 15 for this. I could have gone to chipotle. Even Taco Bell would have been a step above this because you get what you pay for when you go there. This was disappointing.

The la Bamba burrito is so good! The tofu is really tasty here and the chips are good as well. The parking lot is huge which makes it is easy to find parking. I definitely recommend this place for burritos. I especially recommend it, if you’re a vegetarian like me, or if you’re just looking for a tasty burrito. The burritos are packed fat; they are not stingy on ingredients here and you are getting what you pay for. I also really like the breakfast burritos here. The tortillas taste good, they are not buttery or oily which can leave a weird aftertaste. It’s just a clean and good tasting establishment. The workers are super friendly here too! Expect to spend about $ 8-$ 13 on a burrito though. I guess that’s what we can expect for some good quality tasting burritos!

If it wasn’t so convenient to my work location, I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here. Pros: Great location, REASONABLY healthy choices and variety. Cons: BLAND food. Average service and too many order mishaps. Also on the pricier side. This place could be GREAT with management that cared a little more and an owner who is capable of implementing minor changes.

Fast and efficient service. Always can get in out of there in a timely manner. Have tried a few of their burritos and all have been decent. I wouldn’t say they qualify as some of the best I have had but they are good.

The Sea Casa is our go to stop when we are craving Mexican food near where my family lives. Sea Casa is a classic, with so many memories sitting outside with friends. Despite popularity, they have maintained extraordinarily reasonable prices over the years. Burritos are solid and the perfect size, plus a small side of chips and a salsa bar. Conveniently located just off the freeway if you are passing through or in the area. There are several tables inside with many more outside so enjoy the sun, a good burrito, some music, and a Corona for lunch.

I looked this place up on Unilocal as I was driving and craving a burrito. I’m new to the area and this place was close to home. I didn’t really know what was on the menu, but thought you can’t really go wrong with a burrito. I called for pick up and told the man on the phone, I wanted a veggie burrito(beans, cheese, grilled veggies, etc). Well, he took what I said literally and decided to nickel and dime me for every single item inside the burrito. Instead of entering the order as a veggie burrito, I got a Bean and Cheese burrito + tomato + lettuce + veggies + guacamole + salsa. By this method, I was charged nearly $ 12 for a freakin burrito, when it could have just been entered as a veggie/vegan burrito for about $ 8! For that price, my burrito should have done a song and dance for me. Instead, the contents were leaking out before I even unwrapped it. The taste was good, but not $ 12 worth! Had I been giving the price over the phone when I was placing my order, I could have resolved the issue. It wasn’t until I arrived I was faced with sticker shock and the man behind the counter was just combative and offered no apology. The service is what left a bad taste in my mouth.

The food was decent. Ordered it to go. Super hectic at lunch time. A little pricey. They forgot an item on our order and we didn’t find out till we got home. So… a mess up, a little $$, and super crowded. Not my favorite combination. But decent food and fast service with a smile.

I have a love/hate relationship with Sea Casa. LOVE: –The la bamba burrito. The hubby gets it as a burrito and my sister and I get it as a bowl. Either way it’s flavorful, delicious, light and healthy. –Lots of options to customize your order and make it healthy. They have quinoa and brown rice that’s still made like Spanish rice. –They are pretty quick, unless they get your order wrong. And they often get it wrong. EH: –Salsa bar is not the best. HATE: –Service is often rude. –They often get orders wrong and then are rude about it. I’ve seen the manager be rude to customers and yell at his employees. Last time I went my bowl came out as a burrito. To remedy the situation, they opened it up into a bowl. This meant I had no guac in my bowl, barely any lettuce, was short changed on all the ingredients, and everything was mixed into mush instead of separated out like it usually is. –They are inconsistent! But when it’s good it’s really good. –Doesn’t always look super duper clean and is not that appetizing to eat at, but I usually take my order to go. I’ve had enough positive experiences here that I’ll probably be back often, but if I have too many bad ones in a row I won’t be back for awhile.

Right off the bat, this place reminds me of a Rubio’s restaurant… except it’s about 1⁄5 of the size and with no bathroom… which is lame! Came by around noon and it was packed, but the line moved quickly. I ordered two Cali burritos with no drinks and it totaled $ 17. The salsa bar here… not impressive in my opinion. The guac sauce was okay, but the pico was bland, the red sauce was a bit runny, and the carrots were limp. Now, I’m only 5′ 11″ but for whatever reason I had a tough ass time trying to get out of the hightop bar seating without hitting the table stand due to the chairs being so close to each other… Like Randy mentioned… the food was good, but definitely not great. I personally think this restaurant would be much better if it was situated in a bigger location.

A healthier take on Mexican that’s perfect for this area. What I like is their option to text in your order during the lunch rush(11:30 am — 1:30 pm). All you have to do is text your name, order and pick-up time to 805−298−3499. Give them at least 15 minutes’ notice. Don’t bother calling or waiting for a confirmation. Just show up and go straight to the counter. There’s a pick-up area designated for text orders. It was quick and easy. My colleague recommended their VEGANBURRITO. I know! There are grilled veggies, guacamole, tofu, black or pinto beans and brown rice in a whole wheat tortilla. She also warned me that it might be slightly dry so I made it a wet burrito for extra, which meant it would be topped with enchilada sauce and melted cheese, with sour cream and pico de gallo on the side. I think that’s the key… unless you truly are vegan. Anyhow the sauce and melted cheese mixed with the veggies, beans and rice made for a hearty and flavorful meal. Two meals actually. I was also in the mood for a FISHTACO so I added one. Meh… the fish was on the dry side so pass.

3.5 stars by Unilocal is about right. I’m rounding it down rather then up. To quote fellow Unilocaler Anne A, «it’s yet another gringo style Mexican joint with a healthy twist. Why not Sharky’s on the other side of the freeway? Beats me. What’s all the fuss about? * 10 – 15 people always standing in line. * Casual. * About an $ 8 price tag. * Easy parking. I got a combo burrito with fish and shrimp. This is good, but not great food.
