The Growing Place Preschool

We moved across the country, in the middle of the school year. We were very nervous that our son would have a hard time transitioning to a new school because he is so shy. Everyone at The Growing Place was amazing. They welcomed us and made our son feel very comfortable. It is such a warm, friendly & nurturing environment. The kids have such a great time. He loves all his new friends and can’t wait to go to school every morning.

The Growing Place is a very special preschool. The staff is extremely patient and kind. My son is very happy there and we highly recommend the growing place!

The Growing Place preschool is one of a kind. My kids have both attended and have loved every minute, not to mention have grown infinitely. It’s a very safe, positive, clean, and nurturing environment but also with structure to guide the children gently in their development. The teachers introduce learning in such a fun, creative, and playful way. The staff is incredibly competent and professional and love the kids as much as the teachers do. They have become like family and I will be very sad to leave. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this school.

The Growing Place has become part of our family. Great preschool that really cares about your children and wants them to grow and be happy! My 4 year old started in the toddler program which is AMAZING, and is now in the last year of preschool. All of his teachers have been so wonderful. My two year old is now in the toddler class and watching him learn is so fun. Love, love, love the teachers, teacher’s assistants and staff!

I can’t say enough good things about The Growing Place! The staff and teachers are incredibly professional, kind and loving. It’s such a positive environment for the children. My daughter loves all of the crafts and artwork she does in after care. When I drop her off in the morning for early care there is always a new activity waiting (Play Doh, building blocks, colored sand)…
Selecting a preschool is a very hard choice. I can confidently recommend this wonderful school.

My older son has been attending the growing place since he was a toddler (toddler program) and is now in their preschool. I’ve seen his confidence skyrocket. They really help develop the whole child. The teachers are so wonderful and set the foundation for a strong academic future. My younger son is now in the toddler program and will go through the same amazing journey as his brother.

Growing place is the best preschool! I started my daughter here in the 2.5 program after moving from Woodland Hills and she’s now in the 3 year program. The office staff is very friendly and I love that’s it’s not a big school and has a nice cozy feel to it. She transitioned very easily and loves her teachers and the office administrators. I love that they emphasize learning through play. She loves going to school and always asks to stay for aftercare. She will be starting at WLE this Fall and I will be so sad to leave the school. Looking forward to starting my son in the 3 year program in 2017.

After changing from another preschool that wasn’t a positive experience, The Growing Place was the best fit. We couldn’t ask for more caring teachers. Miss Karen has made this a fun and exciting time for my daughter on a daily basis, lots of laughs and learning. They have been more than accommodating to my daughters specific needs and worked with me with to make my daughters preschool years both fun and challenging. I was so happy to have the opportunity for my daughter to participate in extra curricular activities such as Spanish and music. She has learned so many useful skills that have prepared her for her next endeavor of transitional kindergarten. We are sad to be leaving such a wonderful environment. The directors were so wonderful and catered to our every need. I highly recommend The Growing Place.

We looked at several preschools in the area and when I walked into The Growing Place I knew this is where I wanted our twins to go. The school is clean, the staff is beyond wonderful, and most importantly my kids love to go to school. Truly kind, compassionate, and caring staff that my kids talk about as if they are family. The school has fun activities throughout the year… family carnival, Holiday parties, outing to Underwood Family Farms at Halloween, Halloween parade, Gingerbread making party, and a Dad’s night of fun! So blessed to have found this school with so much heart and thrilled my kids have another year at The Growing Place.

I can’t say enough good stuff about the Growing Place. Due to moving, this was the 3^rd preschool my children attended. It is such a special place. If you’re looking for a school where the kids play and learn but come home just as gentle and sweet as they left home, this is the place. The kids are for the most part, so kind and sweet. And the teachers and staff have become like family for my kids. This is our last year and I have a feeling I’ll miss them all too!

We recently moved here from the East Coast and have been beyond delighted with the Growing Place as our son’s first preschool experience. Every person that we have interacted with at the school has been friendly, kind, and welcoming and we could not be more pleased. This play-​based school is just what we were looking for in terms of offering our son an environment to expand his social skills and explore various new areas of learning. We truly feel that this school has provided a sense of community for our son, as well as for our family.

I am very disappointed at this school. The director, Miss Karen, only cares about money and not at all the children and even less the parents. The only reason why I give them 2 stars is because Miss Abbett and miss Kat are great. I will not be signing up my child for next year as long as Miss Karen works there!

Excellent school and teachers. Top notch. Director is professional and helpful. Teachers are well trained, supportive of the program, and available to parents’ questions and children’s needs.

This school is deceptive and practices unethical business practices. They take your money for registration, and when you cant afford to pay their tuition and cant put your child in their school, they acknowledge this, they do not offer help, and they keep the reg. fee for emergency kits for your child who wont be attending the school. a child who never started in the first place. Even after you beg for your money back they still say no!
****Stay away if you dont have money to burn! Find a school that is just a good, I know they are out there, and dont charge a reg. fee!!!

Both of my kids have gone here from 2 – 5 years old. There are a variety of different programs to fit each family’s need and child’s personality as well as an outstanding staff and excellent facilities!
