History

Established in 1978.

The two managing members of SCMP have come together to accomplish two goals; keep parties either out of the court system, or provide a comfortable and unique environment so parties who have already entered the court system, can ease themselves from the vexing and expensive world of litigation. We decided to blend our unique talents and personalities to realize these goals. This may be accomplished through blending male and female, Attorney/​mediator and MDR/​Psychology. We are dedicated to using our capabilities to help you help yourselves.

Meet the Manager

Shelley M.

Manager

Ms. MacEwen has been a mediator since 1998. She holds both a Master of Dispute Resolution and Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine’s Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution. She has also completed family and animal law courses at Pepperdine Law School. She was a mediator with Richard Abbey and Associates. While there she was involved in multi-​disciplinary family law mediations including mini-​evaluations.
