We just had a wedding at The Victorian and can say I am truly stoked about the services that Mindy provided. We were hesitant about coordinators through our wedding planning just because the whole idea was weird especially when considering day of coordinating. After some research and speaking to some coordinators we felt good going with Mindy. After all the hectic stressors of the wedding all we wanted to do was get to the day of our wedding and enjoy the moment, but also with the peace of mind to ensure everything went without a skip. We understood that some things may go awry but all we could do was try and go with it. Once the day came, whether something went wrong or not, we would’ve never known, Mindy did a wonderful job on keeping things moving, and that’s all we could’ve asked for :)

We hired Mindy for our wedding at Calamigos Ranch at the recommendation of our site contact, Cindy. My husband and I were very impressed with Mindy. Not only was she our Day of Coordinator, but she always helped us plan our welcome party as well as our morning after brunch. She did not let me worry about a thing during the wedding and the other events we had. She was very sweet and accommodating. The best thing was that she really took care of my husband and I by making sure we ate and we had time for ourselves. Thanks again Mindy for being awesome!

Cannot say enough good things about Mindy & Co.!! We hired Mindy for our day of coordinator and 2 of her assistants to help set up decorations as a lot of them were DIY and brought over in a large uhaul. She was referred by our venue, Calamigos Ranch, which she knew inside and out. We were blown away with how seamless the night of the wedding was thanks to her! She set up all the decorations exactly to my liking, was always one step ahead whether it be knowing when the bride & groom needed a drink or adding pins to my bustle because my dress was still too long, and the vendors and even the bridal party all loved working with her. Although I had only hired her for day of, she was still available the previous year while I was planning for questions, vendor referrals, calls for timeline questions, etc. I wholeheartedly recommend Mindy for your wedding coordinator, she’s amazing.

I hired Mindy as our day-​of coordinator more than a year in advance. She has stellar reviews and used to work at the venue where we got married so I thought it was the perfect choice. She was great in the beginning. Very responsive, very helpful. Unfortunately she had some serious health issues that I think made it impossible for her to give us the same type of service and attention she gave other past clients. She seemed like she wanted to rush through our final appointment and didn’t get the updated timeline and other documents to us in the time frame she said she would. Right about this time I stopped hearing from Mindy and only heard from her assistant Teri. But since I have a sister in law who had the same health issues and actually lost her battle, I figured I would stick it out with Mindy and pray for her health. I realize now I should have acknowledged that her head wasn’t in the game (for good reason) and part ways. But instead I continued working with her assistant Teri. And when I got really overwhelmed I even asked about month-​of coordination pricing. I don’t think I ever even got that pricing or a response that said they couldn’t take it on. It turns out Teri is her sister and I think lives in AZ. It seemed like she flew out just for my wedding in Malibu. My vendors were contacting me up until the day of the wedding so I don’t think anyone ever got in touch with them, which is supposed to be part of the day-​of coordination plan. She rushed through the rehearsal and we had to insist on going through everything a second time so everyone felt comfortable. She did take the loads of stuff I had acquired for the wedding and when we got to the venue on the day of the wedding, Teri and an assistant were setting everything up just fine. There were a few issues the day of the wedding though, which I think is exactly opposite of what you expect the day of the wedding when you hire a coordinator. First, there is a loud waterfall that affects the sound quality for videographers. We had to really push her to work with us on turning the waterfall off during the vows. It’s just flipping a switch at the right time, but she just didn’t seem like she wanted to help with that. My future sister in law actually ended up doing it and it all worked out fine. Then we were doing golden hour photos and she came rushing out to ask us about vendor meals (which IMO should have been something we covered in a final call days before the wedding, but we never had one even though I asked about doing that). She was pretty upset that we didn’t purchase vendor meals for all of our vendors. But our videographer and photographer said they don’t sit down for meals and bring their own snacks. Everyone who asked for one or stipulated it in their contract got one. In addition, we had 4 no shows so she could have just used those meals if any vendors had changed their minds. Our timeline didn’t go as scheduled. Dinner took long, and we had best man/​mister of honor speeches scheduled for after the entrees were served. Instead of keeping an eye on the clock and adjusting to do the speeches to keep everything on schedule and people engaged, I heard that she was out on the patio enjoying her own meal and not actually keeping an eye on things. Overall, was my wedding great? Yes. Was everything set up, yes. Were there bumps along the way? Yes. Do I think that the professional thing to do if you can no longer give your client the attention they’re paying for is to let them out of their contract proactively? Yes. I wasn’t given that option, but luckily everything was handled. Albeit not at the 5-​star level that all these other reviews were lucky enough to have experienced. No hard feelings though and I wish Mindy a healthy and long life.

Mindy and one of her assistants, Leah, was our Calamigos day-​of coordinator. Mindy was awesome from start to finish. Never lost her cool, never stopped helping, never stopped smiling. Got everything addressed/​finished that she said she would. Total pro, would recommend to anyone looking for something similar. Cheers to Mindy!

We’ve been married for 3 years now, and I’ll never forget how easy it was to work with Mindy, and what great of a job she did. She was extremely responsive, and knew exactly what I needed, even with only little explanation. She is very well connected when it comes to vendors and I was happy with every single one of the vendors she referred to me. Our wedding day was completely stress free thanks to her. Cannot recommend her enough!

Love, love, love her! She is totally organized, answers all calls/​email/​questions rapidly, and truly cares about your special day! She even drove back and forth from my wedding venue (The Sunset Restaurant in Malibu) to pick up some wedding supplies for me (something that we did not even discuss ahead of time). She will keep you calm and will drop anything if you need help. She is a true professional whose number one priority is to make your day EVERYTHING you desire, and more. You would be lucky to have her plan your special event!

One word comes to mind when I think of Mindy, and that is ANGEL!!! First off, this is such a long overdue review, but I need to tell the world how absolutely amazing Mindy is. My husband and I got in touch with her 18 months before our wedding date, we set up a meeting and quickly fell in love with her and hired her for coordinating our entire wedding. Through out the entire wedding planning she was always there, never absent or distracted. In the beginning of our engagement friends would always «warn us about the stress planning a wedding was», but we never experienced that, and we have Mindy to thank to for that. I never felt like I had the «bride to be gene», I had NO clue what I wanted, and what would even look good, all I knew was that I wanted a very romantic but simple day– Mindy was amazing in guiding us through ideas, and visions of what the day would look like. She was always very responsive, any question I had I knew I could text, email or even call and she would answer. The massive list of vendors she works with is awesome and very impressive. They all have so much respect for her and work so well with her. The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect! She was the first to arrive to our venue and the very last person to leave. We had a couple of unpredicted events (drizzled day of, a few guests had a little too much fun at the bar), but Mindy did such an amazing job in getting everything back on track, from toast, to cake cutting, first dances, that at the end no one noticed any of those issues. I was even honored to have her on the dance floor with me, which by the way… she is an AMAZING dancer! Mindy is just amazing, a very kind and loving person. We are honored and so happy to have had her coordinate our wedding from day 1 of our planning, but also very fortunate and extremely blessed to have turned this into a friendship. She is our angel! She LOVES LOVE!!!

Mindy was our day of coordinator for our wedding in May 2014. She was nothing short of AMAZING! I dont know what we would have done without her or how I ever thought I could do it without her. She made everything so simple through the planning process.
Our rehersal was short and sweet and ensured everyone knew where to go and what to do, She even gave us helpful tips that I never would have thought of; like «Look at each other when you repeat your vows, not the pastor. Your not marrying him» lol :-)
The day of I did not have a worry in the world. All of the center pieces, etc that I brought we’re setup perfectly without me having to say a word or show her a thing. She ensured the night went smoothly and according to schedule and she took care of all vendor interactions as well.
Mindy is a rock star! I would reccomend her to any and everyone I know. She is so knowledgable and profesional and has a great energy about her!

What can I say about Mindy, Kristy and Mindy & Co. Events… They went above and beyond and truly gave my husband and I the happiest day of our lives. We hired Mindy to be our day of coordinator, but I was able to email and speak with Mindy the entire year leading up to our wedding whether I had questions, or needed vendor referrals, she would get right back to me and always set my mind at ease. We truly got to know her over the year planning our wedding and when the big day arrived I had never felt more comfortable because we had this great understanding, she knew what we wanted and went above and beyond to give it to us. Our vendors loved her, everything went smoothly, our guests commented that it was one of the best wedding they have ever attended and that is a true testament to her!

We hired Mindy as our «day of» coordinator for our wedding almost 3 years ago. She was recommended by our venue, The Sunset Restaurant, in Malibu. I won’t bore you with all the details, but suffice it to say that she delivered fantastically. I was a little apprehensive when I realized it was to be another member of her staff that actually attended on the day, but my fears were ill-​founded. The entire experience was first class and the wedding was everything we dreamed it would be. I can’t imagine how we would’ve managed without her.

I’m usually very on top of things, so I didn’t feel like I needed a day of coordinator, but our venue required one. They recommended Mindy, and her rates were fairly inexpensive so we chose her as our coordinator.
I know that sometimes I feel like I can do it all, but I’m really glad that Mindy was there to help us so that I didn’t have to. She made sure that everything ran smoothly and made sure that everyone was where they needed to be. Our wedding was pretty «go with the flow», but Mindy helped to make it seem like everything was planned out to the last detail. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a day of coordinator.

We were looking for a day of coordinator and our venue recommended Mindy. After meeting Mindy, we decided she was the one to hire and we wouldn’t need to look further.
Mindy took the time to make sure we had the wedding we wanted. She arrived early to set-​up our décor and was almost ready before the bridal party even arrived. She is sharp, responsive, and knows how to make executive decisions while weighing in our wants and needs.
Our wedding day went by smoothly and the night flew by. We would have been lost without Mindy, as we and our bridal party quickly lost track of time immediately after the ceremony. We had a Harry Potter themed wedding and wanted to incorporate games. She was more than happy to oblige and worked with us and the DJ to make sure we had all our activities. Mindy always made sure we followed our timeline and was quick to adjust to any changes that popped up.
Mindy is also great at improvising on the fly. We had planned to have a very normal, straight forward grand entrance, with our bridal party entering in pairs and heading straight for the head table. She quickly grabbed our DIY photobooth props and instructed our BMS and GMS to strut in when announced and strike a quick pose before grabbing a seat. We are so glad she made this addition cause we saw a photo of the grand entrance and it had so much more character than if we had just entered normally.
Mindy also did a wonderful job of bustling my wife’s wedding gown. When she was done, the bottom looked like a completely different dress. The train was tucked away and the bottom half resembled Belle’s gown from Beauty and the Beast. My wife had originally planned for an outfit change due to her long trail, but ended up wearing her bridal gown all night because it became so easy for her to move. Mindy was also very good at making sure we had something to eat from the beginning to the end. My wife and I had a never-​ending supply of alcohol delivered to us no matter where we were throughout the night. Towards the end of the night as the dancing was underway, Mindy was running around and helping to pack all of our things so that we would be ready to leave right when the music stopped without having to worry about all the clean-​up afterwards.
Mindy was definitely a life saver at various times throughout our wedding. We would highly recommend her and her team.

We hired Mindy as our day of event coordinator but she was so amazing prior to the wedding with logistics and assisting me with vendor questions and everything in between. Her emails were always prompt, and very helpful!
Day of wedding she really went above and beyond and I couldn’t imagine going through the whole experience without her! She kept the whole wedding party and night on track but we never felt rushed or pressured. We had such amazing memories of the night and she really made the experience stress free and fun!

Mindy provided us with a personal experience that went way above and beyond what is expected of a wedding planner. When the day finally arrived, to us, it felt like Mindy should have been a guest at our wedding rather than planning it. But plan she did, and to say we were impressed with her warmth, professionalism, knowledge, and creativity would be an understatement.
We hired Mindy with less than four months to plan our wedding and due to time and distance constraints we left nearly everything up to her. We trusted her to deliver and gave her very little to work with. What we got was our dream wedding. She literally did everything from choosing the colors, flowers, chalkboards, table — everything.
She has a Rolodex of local vendors to accommodate all different budgets and tastes.

We hired Mindy as our day of coordinator after being referred by our venue for our October wedding at Calamigos Ranch. We couldn’t have pulled it all together without her and Teri. I had a lot of DIY things to bring to the wedding and was a little type A about things being in the right place. Mindy and Teri made sure everything looked perfect. I didn’t have a care in the world that day. I knew everything was handled! She was very attentive to our whole family the day of the wedding. Wonderful experience! Mindy was also great about vendor referrals and answering all of my random questions throughout the planning process. She definitely knows weddings and was a great help advising on all the little things.

My Husband and I hired Mindy as our «day of Wedding Coordinator» and we couldn’t have been happier. Mindy was not only patient (I wouldnt call myself a bridezilla, but I know I had my moments), she was understanding, cooperative, and attentive. She was always available via phone or email to answer any question I had– even when it came down to little details that weren’t in her control. I felt at ease working with Mindy and knew I could trust her with all the details of my sepcial day. When my big day arrived she was the first person I saw at the venue and her large welcoming smile immediatly gave me a feeling of satisfaction. I knew she had everything under control. Again, without Mindy I would not have been able to relax, and enjoy my wedding day for it was. THANK YOU MINDY!!!

Mindy is the best, she was my day of planner for my wedding. She went above any beyond and was super organized. I felt that Mindy did far more more than day of event planning. She was always available to me when I had a question about something and helped point me in the right direction. She was professional through the entire process and on the day of my wedding she was amazing, I never once had to think about anything she took care of making sure my day went off without a hitch. I love Mindy and would recommend her to anyone looking for an event planner.

Mindy was recommended to us via our venue and we were absolutely pleased with her and Joy our day of coordinator. Mindy was very thorough, easy to reach and made herself very available for any and all things. We really loved how easy going Mindy was through the entire wedding planning process and even with our selecting her. Wedding time can bring a lot of pushy people out of the woodworks and she is the opposite of pushy or high strung. We would recommend Mindy and associates to anyone planning a wedding!

My wife and I (strange saying that still) chose Mindy after being referred by our venue, the Sunset Restaurant in Malibu. We were handling a lot of the work on our own so Mindy was hired as our day of coordinator and we had a few meetings and conversations with her during the months leading up. She was very attentive and responsive to any questions we had. We live in Las Vegas so she was very helpful in getting us information we needed for our event in Malibu.
The day before the wedding a member of her staff came and met us at our hotel and picked up all of our decorations. After a brief conversation to go over some of the details we felt confident that everything would be just the way we wanted it… and we could not have been more right! Mindy and her team had everything just the way we envisioned (and better).
When it came time to get the ball rolling and get everyone in order she was on top of it and made our day so stress free… even going as far as to sew up my wife’s sisters dress after it ripped minutes before she was supposed to walk down the aisle. Everything went so smooth… she made sure we were happy and kept everything on schedule up to the very end.
I would recommend Mindy to anyone in the area looking for a coordinator. I wish we had hired her to help with more of the process… I definitely would have been less stressed LOL.
