STAY AWAY! The new manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. Following my sons dental surgery, we stopped by for some soft pasta, explaining to the manager/​waiter the need for very soft food. He said he understood. After ordering, he brought a salad to my son that he did not order. I kindly offered to eat it anyway as I removed the salad from in front of my son. The manager argued with me as he grabbed it back and set it in front of my son again. He would not listen to us, and attempted to tell us what was soft and not soft. The idiot could not, would not hear our surgeons very specific food instructions post surgery. Sorry Dude, crunchy salad was not on the list. Very odd guy, needless to say we wont be back… really too bad, food and service used to be great.

The only good thing I can say about this place is they a $ 8 lunch specials that include an entrée, a side, and a drink.
Ducked in here to grab a quick bite while waiting for an appointment. I decided on the 6-​inch eggplant parmigiana sandwich with chips and a diet coke. The chips were fine, so was the diet coke. The eggplant was like shoe leather! It must have been 3 or 4 days old. Thin and dried out, the owner tried to hide this fact by smothering it in sauce. Trying to eat the sandwich was awkward since every bite would result in a large piece of dehydrated eggplant being pulled out. By the end, I had a few pieces of bread, soggy from the excess sauce.
Then, there was the service! It wasn’t terrible, but there was a lot of room for improvement. After dropping of the sandwich, the waitress disappeared. I was in a bit of a hurry, so I had to hunt her down and ask for the check. You think that would have alerted her to my urgency. So after dropping of my check, she disappears again. I hear her chatting with the chef in the back, so I had to hunt her down again to give her my payment.
Crappy food and crappy service make for a crappy meal.

We enjoyed our 3 meals tonight:
Chicken Marsala
Beef. Lasagna
Pepperoni pizza
We have had good and OK meals here before, but this time all were very nice.
Pleasant change with linen tablecloths and napkins and recent paint up.
One real plus for us is to bring our own wine and no corkage fee. They do not have liquor license.
A nice place for a good meal. We’ll be back more often.

Very good pizza, salads and fresh pasta. Reopening from their former take out place is still very rough around the edges re: service and ordering. They need to get their wait staff better trained… but still this little place shows promise. Nice spot after the movie instead of the Chinese place and no moving the car! Loved the thin crust on the pizza.

Wow! What an experience! I went in with my girlfriend on Wednesday night and was instantly greeted by the cutest server. She was sweet, cute and a read head! All in which, I love! She reminded me of my granddaughter who lives in Texas! The food was outstanding! The chef sure knows how to cook pasta! As for the vibe, that is where it all went wrong. I am a frequent visitor of Etorna and I noticed a new man sitting in the corner and staring at the customers and employees. I found out he is the new «manager» but after hearing the way that this man spoke to my server, I was astounded. He was rude and so incredibly mean. I hope all server’s here don’t have to deal with this man.
Service was 100%

I am going to give them only 2 stars this visit Bc the service was horrible last Sunday evening. There were only three other tables in the restaurant, one family of four just got up and left before their pizza arrived. The waitress said, «I don’t know why they left without eating!» I can tell you why, slow, slow, slow service! We had to continually ask for water and for our drinks to be refilled. When we finally got our drinks we asked to order. I ordered a large antipasto salad with Italian vinaigrette dressing. She brought us vinegar… when she took the salad back to the kitchen the employees talked about us. Hello — customers can hear you Bc you have an open kitchen. Our pizza finally arrived and it was delicious. The waitress and the kitchen staff need more training before they can be left without supervision. And please stop apologizing Bc «the kitchen is slammed» bring us drinks and the yummy garlic knots and all customer would be very understanding if you’re busy. We will try to eat here again but please be mindful of your customers.

I tried the lasagna and it did not seem very authentic. The tomato sauce tasted like it came out of a tomato can. It was pretty bland. Also, I think the lasagna had chopped celery. That does not appear to me like it’s very Italian. Service was very good but then again the group that I was part of was the only one at the restaurant.

Found the Pizza to be was very bland. Dough tasted like slightly frozen cardboard and the wings were like rubber. Picked up and there was no one else in the restaurant. The staff were nice but no desire at all to return anytime soon.

I stopped by on a Friday night at 8pm. The place was dead. A few take out orders occurred but I was basically the only one in the place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hostess was very sweet and accomidating. The location had plenty of parking and very clean.
I ordered the fettuccine premavaria which was fettuccine with cream sauce and veggies. The veggies were a bit on the small size and portions were light. Only six small broccoli prices a some bite sized yellow squash or tomato pieces. The overall pasta portion was decent. The sauce was about average but not seasoned. The garlic knots were very not garlic and plain bread. The Caesar salad was Eh. But I will say all the ingredients for all dishes were very fresh.
Overall it’s not a bad place but nothing to write ho. e about. I would happily go but not seek it out. Prices were very reasonable for the area. $ 12 for meal plus drink.

This has been our local go to place since they opened. Always fresh, always on time, always friendly. Highly recommended!

I love bumping into little gems like this. This delicious Italian restaurant is in the same strip mall where the Regency Theatre-​plenty of parking!
We were greeted by this cheery waitress named Julie, who really catered to us.
I told her that I was craving wine because the BF and I had just finished seeing «I’ll See You In My Dreams» (if you see the movie, you’ll understand my craving).
Julie informed us that the restaurant does not carry wine but told me that if I went to the liquor store next door and bring back my bottle, she would gladly provide a wine glass. Well, of course I bought a tiny bottlette of cab.
Anyway, we ordered the dinner for 2 and here’s what you all have to try: the antipasto salad; generous portions of goodness on top of crisp greens.
The mushroom pizza was so good !
Then came the spaghetti and meat balls. And I’m talking real, fat juicy meatballs on top of tomato chunks laden spaghetti.
No need for the parmesan cheese cuz it was so flavorful, we never talked through the meal. It was one big eating session.

Bread? yes, they serve garlic knots.
I was shocked at how inexpensive the place is.

Etorna is a relatively recent incarnation of Aunt Lefty’s Pizza, which had been a neighborhood fixture for 25 – 30 years. While the name has changed the chef has not. Benjamin cooked for Aunt Lefty’s for decades, and took over the business. He really knows how to make a great pie. I especially like the crust, which isn’t thin and flaccid, nor too bready, with the sauce ending too far from the edge, leaving you with a lot of dough to butter.
I happen to like crumbled sausage, rather than the sliced kind, so I enjoy a departure from the traditional pepperoni (which is also good) and sometimes go for a sausage-​meatball combo. And he isn’t stingy with the cheese either!
Try it. You’ll like it!

People who don’t know good food may love this little place, but not me. The service is super average (high school kids) and the food is one tick shy of terrible. High points: no corkage fee. Decent garlic knots. Low points: shitty sauce, bottled salad dressing. Blah is an overstatement.

Dropping my review 2 stars. The pizza is good, but we were informed that they charge $ 5 to deliver to Agoura Hills. That’s way too much of a delivery charge for such a short drive. We had ordered before and never been told there was a delivery charge. Maybe they added it in and didn’t tell us. Won’t be ordering from here again unless we feel like picking it up.

love the food, staff was even better. italian food is my favorite, husband had his favorite chicken picatta, it was soon good. I had half white pizza and magherita! all I can say is AWESOME

I went to Etorna this last week with some local friends that have lived here for 15 years and thought they had tried all the Italian food in the area. We all ordered something different to sample the menu. The food was incredible! It was a Wednesday night and they had a special. Two dinners for $ 20.00 and it came with delicious garlic knots and a awesome dipping sauce. It’s probably more of a take out place, but The service was great. There was a steady stream of people picking up to go orders the whole time we were there. We will try and make it there once a week now!

Me and my boyfriend where looking for a place to eat last night when we came across this place. We walk in. No greeting no hello no service just two dumb girls twirling their hair. I had to get my own menu and sit down by ourselves. When we sat the two girls where just in another world. We didn’t order and ended up leaving. It just felt weird in there.

This place needs help. Robert Irvine would do well to stop in and offer some direction. The atmosphere is mediocre at best – four walls with hastily hung pictures and poorly lit. On top of that, the service was both sluggish and poor (the waitress forgot our salads and didn’t once check in with us). When the food finally arrived after a 40 minute long wait, it looked like something a third grader had thrown together. We ordered the chicken piccata and the chicken marsala, and ended up with two thin slabs of chicken drowning in extremely watery sauce. It was flavorless, hard to eat, and more than anything a huge disappointment after the long wait. Our meal ended up being around $ 30 – far too much for what amounted to an essentially depressing dining experience.

Stopped by here on a fluke after my son got his hair cut next door. We were literally the only people in the place. The subs were good (chicken parmesan & steak n cheese) and reasonably priced. The only drawback was the horrendous & clueless service we received by some girl who I never learned her name and never really spoke to beyond the initial ordering. It was really quite bad.
While the food was good, I still expect to be asked how it is & have my water refilled. Food: 4star. Service: we didn’t really get any. 1 star.
