Twice weekly customer from a local business that strongly supports this business. The prices are extremely too high! No deals available even to loyal customers.

I would have given it more stars, but since Frank left, it has gone down hill. Frank was great!!! Always got the order right, so friendly, just a really nice guy. The salads and cold cuts have gone down hill. The roast beef which used to be great, is stringy and tough, the same with the chicken salad. Don’t know why this has happened, but it really is pretty bad. Look for another deli. This one is slowly going down hill…:(:(:(

This place is by far the biggest ripoff food establishments I have every been too, I have tried many times because it’s close to my work and not many choices, a chicken salad hero with a ¼ lb of mac salad is 20 bucks, chicken salad was dry and tasteless, staff was rude especially the owner, the straw that broke the camels back for me, I was picking up multiple sandwiches for my employees, I ordered the breakfast hero (that comes with homefries on it as per the menu, l asked for the homefries on the side and they refused and she said we don’t do that! I was in total shock, I wanted the homefries on the side not the sandwich, so I asked the tattooed nasty woman can I speak with the owner, she said she was the owner (which I found hard to believe (prob owners daughter or relative) and she was nasty, rude and despicable, I paid the 10 bucks for the breakfast sandwich, which by the way was inedible eggs were way undercooked and extremely greasy, whatever you do stay away from this deli, the only people that go there are out of town people in the summer, food sucks, prices are prob most expensive than any deli on Long Island, and staff is nasty, Stay Away there is a better deli down the block

My boyfriend and I always stop by here to pick up breakfast sandwiches/​snacks prior to his shooting competitions and they are always very pleasant and welcoming. No complaints and orders are never messed up!

I really like this deli! I stop here during summertime on the way to the ocean to bring breakfast or pack lunch for the day. Friendly people and their sandwiches are always so good! They have a great selection of all deli foods. Worth a try:)

Extremely overpriced, average quality food at best very crowded always mess up order multiple times and rude staff, better places and cheaper delis around the block, tried 3x will never go back again

Excellent deli that is usually less crowded than those in town. Breakfast sandwiches are awesome, as are the sandwiches (which come with two welcome thick slices of dill pickle wrapped in). This is also where to go for great rolls when you’re making your own at home.

Although it is slightly expensive (hence 4 stars instead of 5), I come back every week. Sometimes two times a week. Being from California I didn’t really know what to order here especially since there is no menu. So I started trying everything. What I learned is that they will make you any type of sandwich with the stuff they have on hand and all their salads are delicious. But the best things I have had are the eggplant Parmesan and the fresh roast turkey (both plain or on a roll). What really makes this place great is that it is comfortable. Simply it’s a great deli, lots of personality and my favorite lunch spot during the week.

I’ve been going to Whitney’s for years, and every time it’s always enjoyable! The sandwiches are delicious, the salads are fresh, and the staff is always pleasurable to deal with even when they’re busy. I never feel rushed and that’s important.
The place is kept very clean. I always see a clerk maintaining the coffee station too.
To the guy who posted about the owner being a «crook»…if you’ve felt ripped off, why go for 10 years? Because it’s the best in town? This place is top-​notch in local delis! I recommend it to everyone!

This old buzzard is a crook. I tried to redeem my groupon offer after being robbed in this place for 10 years. He gave me a lecture then ripped up my groupon in front
of other customers. Stay far away from this place.

Nice place has plenty of items to choose from. great sandwiches and soups and the place is maintain very clean. also have great breakfast sandwiches. Customer service is good as well…

This is our go-​to local deli. We love the staff and the food. Ask for a «KJ» and you won’t be disappointed! The house pasta salad is awesome! Yummy!

My mom is in rehab nearby so I try to bring her different food every day. Whitney’s deli is the best I’ve found hands-​down, Fresh turkey with all the trimmings, rare roast beef on real rye bread. These people are foodies and the folks making the sandwiches know what they’re serving… Deliciousness.

The only deli around here that roasts fresh turkey everyday. Forget 4 week old boars head gelatain cr**. This is the way a deli should be!
They had delicious brie and cranberry along with cool square whole wheat rolls that I appreciate. Romain not iceberg lettuce also. This is what I look for in a deli. Salads all looked good, however the macaroni or potato I am not sure were homemade by the appearance… But who cares. No one eats that mayo stuff anymore out here now in this weather.
They were busy yet nice to talk to and make a perfect sandwich.

Amazing salad, completely fresh, everyone was very pleased with the sellection available for their sanwhiches. Particular kudos for having Food Should Taste Good single serving chip bags. Awesome for lunch before or at the beach, and even better for brunch/​lunch before sitting on the nightmare known as the LIE :)
