Radon mitigation system installed fine, and operationally sound. Technician was friendly and walked me through everything, post-instillation. Post-purchase issues proved more difficult. Not much response when initially contacting regarding a potential problem. When finally interacting, immediate push-back and distrust of me as-customer. Looking for ways out of the potential problem, rather than listening and simply saying«Hey, we’ll take a look.» Was made to feel like simply a bother to them. Product, thus far, seems fine. Customer service post 2K purchase, poor & dismissive.

We called a couple companies for estimates. Radon Systems was slightly higher, but we were impressed with the quality of the explanation of what would be done and what to expect. After the evaluation we were able to set an appointment within a couple weeks. Technicians came at 8:30(as promised) and installed a fan and a sub-slab suction system drawing from three points(one basement, two in crawl spaces), leaving an adapter in case they need to add an additional pipe in the future. They left a radon meter and were gone by noon. Five days later the meter was picked up and read. Our radon levels had dropped from 20 to just under 4, which is the guaranteed level. They recommend we have our radon levels tested again in the winter when the house is closed up longer, and if the levels are higher than 4 they will come out at no additional charge and do whatever needs to be done to get the level within the limits.
