James G. Flaherty practices law in the areas of Estate Planning; Business Law; and Real Estate in Westerville, Ohio. Born in Rochester, N.Y., Jim was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1984, and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio and the U.S. Tax Court in 1985. He is a graduate of Miami University (B.S., 1980) and the University of Dayton (M.B.A., 1983; J.D., 1984).

Jim is active in the Westerville, Columbus, Ohio State and American Bar Associations. A few of his community activities include being active in the local Rotary Club of Westerville Sunrise, Past District Governor for Rotary District 6690 (2007), 2000 Chairman of the Board of the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce and 2002 President of the Central Ohio Planned Giving Council.

Jim resides in Westerville and has two adult children. His hobbies include running marathons, woodturning and golf.
