Bb’s baby donuts, a «beautiful beginning» to your day! These adorable delicious baby donuts are made fresh all day and will be custom flavored and drizzled right before your eyes. Whether on your way to the train early in the morning or after school for a snack, bb’s baby donuts will more than satisfy your donut craving! Combine our own «bb’s baby donut» blend of Intelligentsia coffee with your donuts and you will be hooked. You can quickly grab a dozen to go or call ahead and place custom orders for parties, meetings, events, etc. We will work with you to make your meeting or event personalized. We look forward to you stopping in to experience these «delightful» treats.

History

Established in 2014.

Bb’s Baby Donuts started as a donut stand, open Saturdays only in front of their sister store, Beautiful Beginnings, in July of 2013. Owners Debbie and Ed Feiler never missed a Saturday, including through the long cold Chicago winter of 2013⁄2014. Seeing that customers really enjoyed these delightful treats, Debbie decided to take part of her baby store and make it a full time «baby donut» shop. Customers loved being able to walk up and purchase their donuts, so Debbie had a custom «pick up» window installed and opened the shop with the «pick up» window only on June 1st, 2014. After doing some necessary plumbing work Bb’s Baby Donuts opened inside on November 1st, 2014. The shop is very inviting and relaxing. When the weather is nice, the «pick up» window and outside patio are just delightful.

Business Owner

Debbie has been celebrating «beautiful beginnings» for 20 years. Her store, Beautiful Beginnings, and upscale baby boutique opened in September of 1995. Debbie loves babies and just loves seeing those babies grow. Another favorite thing for Debbie is to make people happy with the food she serves. She has always enjoyed cooking and making everything delicious and beautiful. She is now able to satisfy that desire with serving her sweet little and big customers her baby donuts.

I always have a weakness for sweets, especially for donuts. Thought I would stop in and check out the donuts and use a Unilocal check in offer. There were a variety of donuts to choose from and they are made fresh to order. My only area that I would offer as an area of improvement is to allow customers to mix and match their donuts. You are limited to only 2 choices per dozen, which doesn’t allow you to get the full experience. I tried the cinnamon roll and the bacon donuts. They were delicious. If you live in the area, check out the commuter special in the morning. A great local business.

Who doesn’t love a good donut so when a friend discovered bb baby donuts we thought we had to check them out! Cute little shop with fun décor and mini donuts being made right in front of you eyes. We decided to try a dozen of the designer and with a Unilocal check in we were able to get a half dozen of the original free. We would have loved to be able to mix up our selection but was told that with the designer dozen we could only choose two flavors and with the original half dozen only one flavor. So being limited on our selection we went with the designer Cinnamon Roll, Bacon My Baby and original Cinnamon Sugar. The price is super affordable for a dozen of designer flavors $ 6. We decided to take them to go, trying one when we got home which was still warm and the topping of the Bacon My Baby still crunchy. Now after a few hours I have to say they aren’t the same still good but they seem to have lost that delicious donut touch! Great spot for a coffee and sweet treat if you intend on enjoying them fresh out of the fryer. And an added bonus would be if your able to mix up the flavors whether you buy a half or dozen of donuts. That’s the fun opening up a box and trying to decided which one to eat first!!!

If you haven’t tried bb’s baby donuts, you are SERIOUSLY missing out!
This is the cutest and most delicious little donut shop, I swear. My husband and I are donut snobs — we have ventured out to try out all the best shops in Chicago and the surrounding area. One of my favorite things about bb’s is that the donuts are made fresh right in front of you. There is NOTHING better than a warm, fresh donut! My dad actually ate the donuts completely plain (not even any icing). If that’s not a testament to how good they are, I’m not sure what it. To top it off, the flavor combinations are heavenly. My husband and I loved the smores, nutella, and cinnamon roll. Of course, the classic icing and sprinkles was a fan favorite as well :) oh, and by the way… they mix their own ground coffee blend, and it is FANTASTIC! My husband couldn’t stop raving about it.
This shop is so much better than any chain. Do yourself a favor and get over to bb’s baby donuts as quickly as possible! This is definitely one of our all time favorites!

Yum, yum, yum. Sticky delicious donuts from heaven. They’re mini donuts and made fresh before your very eyes. My kids love to watch the machine run. We share them on birthdays and special playdates. It is a ½ block from the train station, so sometimes we eat them while watching the trains go by. Added bonus is that it is locally owned. :-) Keepin’ Western Springs cute!

What great things could you not say about this fabulous little donut store. The donuts are delicious just on their own. The owners allow to try the donut without any toppings and then you choose what you want from there.
The half dozen size is perfect and I highly recommend the cinnamon and sugar and pj and j, they reminded me of my childhood.

BB’s Baby Donuts did our wedding favors and they were perfect! Our guests loved them and they stayed fresh a long time after the wedding too. My wife and I took some extra favors with us on honeymoon a week later and they tasted the same as our wedding day! Debbie was wonderful to work. Everything was made fresh the day of our wedding and delivered on time. A+ for presentation too.

Tiny donuts made while you wait. Strongly recommended that you eat them while hot. Great flavors (nutella, cinnamon roll, vanilla, Reese’s cup, coconut)…about 11 flavors in all. $ 5/​dozen. This place is hard-​to-​find, but it’s a winner. I just wish they opened before 730 am.

I wish I could give a 3.5 star review. Anyway, we stopped by here today after driving by on several occasions. The donuts are adorably bite sized. The shop itself is also very cute. Free sample was a nice plus. They’re quite tasty, but then again, has a piece of fried dough ever not been tasty? The dough is lighter and less dense than most donuts, which I liked! We bought cinnamon sugar, chocolate frosting with peanuts, and peanut butter and jelly. All were delicious. I wish the cinnamon sugar clung to the donuts a little better, a lot ended up at the bottom of the bag. Overall, I think this is a great little place to stop by once in a while and grab some donuts, though it’s pricey for what it is! However, I can’t deny that I ate a substantial amount of those little guys. We rationalized by saying they won’t be good the next day…

Loved these! On a walk with my mom while visiting home, we saw a sign for «baby donuts». Curious as to what the heck a «baby donut» was, we followed the sign to a white tent outside of Beautiful Beginnings baby store. Deliciousness ensued. This adorable donut stand makes hot mini donuts on the spot and you can have them with whatever toppings you want. We opted for the snickers donuts which had chocolate drizzle, caramel drizzle and chopped nuts. PERFECT for the cold day and so good! We split a half dozen for $ 3 and it was just the right size for a small snack. The tent is only open Saturdays from 8 — 4, so the perfect place to get addicted to since the hours require you to show some self-​control ;)
