History

Established in 2009.

Cloth Diaper Exchange was opened in August of 2009. Cloth Diapers are better for babies and better for environment. It takes one disposable diaper at least 500 years to decompose and it’s filled with cancer causing materials. It was these things that motivated me as a mother to look into today’s modern options for cloth diapering. I became so in love with cloth diapering I wanted to share the cloth love with local mama’s and give them a place to buy and exchange them! Cloth Diaper Exchange was then born.

A quick blurb of info: It’s actually against the law to throw human waste into the trash and send it to the landfill. Solid waste is supposed to be ‘knocked off” of disposable diapers into the toilet before they are thrown away (read the side of the package).
