B & B Dockside

This place is little bit off of the beaten path but makes for a great dockside restaurant. The burgers are fantastic and they have a nice bar with plenty of drink options to choose from. Service was friendly and quick and the price is very reasonable for the portions and quality. I definitely recommend coming here — but be prepared to wait on weekends, this place gets busy really quick on weekends and during the summer months.

Delicious burgers, interesting menu. Service could use a little pick me up. Smaller restaurant– but nice décor. Ritzy crowd.

New Location, Same Deliciousness
B&B is a local must, the food is excellent and pricing is hard to beat! Highly recommend for breakfast or for a quick dinner, either way, it’s a Win-​Win!

I liked their previous location better but maybe that’s because I’m selfish and hate waiting forever. Absolutely slammed in the summer– go early! It’s delicious! I just with they didn’t salt and pepper everything as much as they do but that’s just my personal preference.

Love the look of the new place but it was very awkward picking up a takeout order. I was practically bumping into people’s tables. When I got the food home I’d say it was subpar– burger was ok, there were hardly any fries though (and what little there was were not very good). I was blown away when they were on Oak St, hopefully they can get back to that once the kinks are worked out at the new location

Got going late one morning and didn’t make it in time for Christina’s but, a patron leaving there suggested two other breakfast spots and B&B Dockside was one of them. We really lucked out picking this one… The breakfast was phenomenal and the service prompt and friendly. They also have a cup of coffee that is unmatched anywhere. (Seriously!) There is ample seating room and space between tables so your dining experience is relaxed. Clean, clean, clean! Plenty of parking though, the lot is pebble stone so, if a wheelchair or rolling walker is your thing then it may be tricky to push through. If your looking for a nice place for breakfast and a place to bring that mother or mother in law in your life then this is the spot to go. Everyone will be happy! 5 Stars!

I’m sad to say that I am disappointed in the turn this place has taken since the move to the marina. The service and food in the old location was incredible. Now, the service is slow, the atmosphere is loud and the food is just so so. On our last visit, the homemade chips were cold and soggy. We have been told that they serve fries during certain times of the year because the potato quality is lacking. In the old location, the chips were served year round and we never felt a difference. Now I have to say that we have been there several times and the chips were not good. The burgers continue to be amazing. There is a horrible echo in the room and it’s extremely loud, especially when there are a lot of families. We are hoping all of this is corrected, because we are not eager to return.

OK I listened to all the hype on how great this place was. I could never find it open. After looking at the menu I decided to go with the soup and American burger with a side order of onion rings. The soup was corn and clam chowder which was a little better than dish water. My onion rings came and I ate two of them. The batter was awful. The burger was cooked medium and that is the way I like it. The tomatoes on the burger were cherry tomatoes — big disappointment to me. I like the sliced big tomatoes. Bottom line is if you want a burger go to McDonalds or high end go to five guys. This place is a tourist trap!

Very tasty burgers! They are kind of small. My husband said he should have gotten two. We got one with jalepeno and cream cheese it was good. We will go back.

If the outdoor seating had been available on the beautiful day we frequented them, this could have been a 5 star experience.
The burgers were delicious — juicy, flavorful, just the right amount of toppings. The Portuguese rolls are a wonderful compliment. The plain house fries are fresh cut and super tasty. We also tried some dressed sweet potato fries — love!
The service was fast, despite our initial 10 minute wait for a table, and very friendly. We will definitely go back!

This is a nice breakfast spot and has an good selection of breakfast entrees we have been here twice and I’d put it in the top caliber of breakfast places in Westerly. I had the Mexican omelette and it was quite tasty. Selections are pretty varied and interesting. The ambiance is pleasant and service was adequate.
I think it’s a step up from the previous occupant of the space.
I’ll be back and will most likely give it a shot for lunch, some of those burgers sound great.

My wife and I had breakfast for the first time here this morning. I will say this: It was perfect in every way. Food was terrific and service was spot on. The place is clean and with a great vibe. Home made Roast Beef Hash was perfect and the coffee is the best I have had in this area. Strong dark roast and self service.
This place is a winner.

What a great little place. Friends in town invited us over to have a quick bite to eat at this newly opened location. Friendly service, excellent customer care, fun little bar and really really good food.
What more is there to say?
We will be back!

I am sorry to say I am highly disappointed in the move this restaurant made. Maybe the move caused the shift, but I haven’t a clue.
I ordered the Rangoon omelet. The omelet was very good and hot, however, in it’s description, it states that it should have jalapeño. There was zero jalapeño flavor in the omelet. Nada. The omelet also has hash browns included with the meal. They were lukewarm, when they arrived on the plate, at best. And the toast was cold. Common on, dude, cold toast?
Hubby ordered the Roast Beef hash. He has had this before and knows how good it could have been and should have been. He told me it had no flavor and it was blackened and cold when it arrived at the table.
He told me his hash browns were lukewarm on arrival as well, and the toast, well, need I say more?
Such an incredible disappointment after having such a great experience at the former location. Can you go back to the former location and concentrate on quality food again? PLEASE?
At least the coffee was good.

This is the sanctuary of mouthwatering food! The burgers are very gratifying here & there are a couple of craft beer selections to wash them down. Anyplace I can get a fried egg on my burger is solid in my book.
The restaurant’s new location is very modern & relaxing. The view of the boats & water is the perfect scenery for devouring these delicious burgers.

Not much has changed other than the location for B&B. The new location offers more seating & a larger bar. If you’re looking for the same awesome burgers from Oak Street they have you covered.
I just grabbed a TK burger at the bar & washed it down with a Goose Island IPA. They have 4 taps now but nothing «craft» which is disappointing but I just found out they’ve been serving milkshakes!
I was informed that the oak chips are «out of season» but their new fries were pretty damn solid. They weren’t too thin cut but were crispy & I was given more than even I could eat. I’ll definitely be back for more burgers & breakfast too.

Nice little place with a home feel. About ten tables. You grab your seat and then go to the counter to order your food. The staff will bring the food to your table. We went for breakfast. Food was good and hot. I will make this a stop everything I’m in RI.
Went back for Dinner to try the burgers… Burgers were good, love the bun. Still not disappointed.
Update 5÷23÷15. This is our stop when coming to RI. Since they have moved to this new location there is much more room. Parking may become a problem since its at a marina now. Food still great. They now have a bar. Their drink choices should be on the menu to see what it is offered. There are no beverages listed. You now order from your table.

Fear not fans of Oak Street B & B. They are not gone. They have moved to Margin Street off
of Beach Street. Just a little closer to town. The menu has stayed pretty much the same with a
few changes. Oak Chips are now seasonal. (Aren’t you glad they didn’t change the name to
Dock Chips? That just sounds… wrong.) There are french fries and onion rings available to fill the void. A couple of new sandwiches and a FULL LIQUOR LICENSE! The same place, only better. Loads of parking and the restaurant itself is beautiful. Highest recommendation!

My family craves their amazing burgers and homemade chips/​fries as well as the breakfast menu. Must have a house made sangria or mimosa. Designate a driver. They will knock you on your a&$. There are no bad choices on the menu.
