Cafeteria style place where you pick your main dish and sides. I’ve been several times and each time the food has been delish. Great value as the dishes are less than $ 8. Option to eat in and watch a little futbol aka soccer. Be adventurous and try a latin soda(Inca Kola) or juice.

Working in Westbury you’d think there were many different choices for lunch, but if I don’t want to get in my car my choices dwindle to a couple of chinese take-outs, pizza places, a new Asian Fusion(it’s called Harmony– delicious), Little Mexico and about 2 dozen Latin American quick lunch places. Walking out of Bank of America the other day, I decided to run across the street to one I hadn’t tried yet, Deli Salvadoreno. Tiny place, a few tables, steam table crammed with delicious smelling wares. I was in the mood for seafood, but didn’t want to struggle with bones. The woman behind the counter spoke as much english as I spoke spanish. oh well — she still tried her best to see what it was she could do for me, I like that. I’ve been dismissed with an eye roll all too often. I gave up my fish wish and settled on a spaghetti and chicken and carrots and some green vegetable combo that was simply DELICIOUS. I pointed at it and shrugged. She smiled and pointed at the different sized containers. I instantly liked her, and next week I’ll have my smartphone translator ready to work at getting me something different. I hope to return and revisit my review with more stars. A-OK will do for now.
