Suzanne Lucash, OD – Auburn Westborough Eye

As I have noted previously, I have been going to Drs. Lucash and Cohn and now their son for a long as I can remember including my daughters and now my sons 9 and 12 — they have been extremely accessible (I remember one Sunday taking care of my daughter). Marianne has been extremely helpful over the years with my eye glass needs!

I have been going to Dr Lucash for 15 years. After sustaining a concussion a few weeks ago, I was advised to see my eye dr about some related vision issues.
The office was fabulous in squeezing me in when I explained the situation. I saw Dr Cohn (a young guy): he was great. He went through a very thorough exam. More importantly, he was clear in explaining what he was looking for and what can happen to vision/​eye function as a result of a concussion. My symptoms seemed really weird but any fears were allayed by the clear information that Dr Cohn provided.
Everyone in the office was kind and supportive — very empathetic about my situation and the stress I’ve felt about it.

I thought I would update my previous review which is below and you should probably read that one and then read this one afterwards. It is now a few days later and we had Davis Vision call to see if our glasses are ready. Actually, Davis vision gave us a call in response to the few times we had to call them concerning my sons contacts. We thought that was very nice and she called them. A few minutes later we got a call back from a very apologetic woman that is a supervisor from Davis Vision. She said the office told her the glasses were in and we couldn’t pick them up. Thanks to this review they said we were not allowed to pick up our glasses or we would be escorted off the property. The funny thing is that they were told to forget the contacts, put in the glasses order and that would be it. Because of my frustration they just don’t want us to receive our glasses that were already paid for and ordered. Great, we will have to start all over again. If this sounds strange to any of you, I am very honest. Trust me, this and my previous review are very real. If you are planning on going here, do your research. BEWARE. The best part about this whole nightmare situation is that I may have helped you from getting involved with this particular office. Not to say they could have avoided this whole situation by just making things right and caring about us as customers instead of people with a wallet. I would not have had to take the time to write these lengthy poor reviews and could have just given them a good review if they had just treated us right and not tried to take advantage of us from the moment we walked in the door. The funny thing is, if we all had just gotten our glasses after all of this I may have given them an extra star because our exam was actually not all bad. It was everything else regarding money and bad customer relations that prompted me to write this review in the first place. Like I said before, if you read these before you make your decision concerning a new eye doctor, perhaps they will help. I am in no way trying to make your mind up for you or writing this review in spite. I am just telling you how our experience was.

I have seen both Doctors Lucash and Cohn. Their clinical skills and customer service is top notch. They take time with you and answer any questions you have. Office staff is very friendly and helps if you have insurance questions. I would recommend them to both friends and family and have already recommended them to my co-​workers.

Great business! Easy to make appointments and they send email reminders. Parking is easy and I was seen right on time. Dr. Lucash is fantastic!

They are amazing — Dr. Lucash, her husband and son. My daughter had a horrible infection in her eye and they actually came in to see her at 10pm on a weeknight! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Very friendly, professional, and helpful. Family owned and operated (husband and wife team). Would not hesitate to recommend to friends.

Dr. Lucash is friendly and approachable. She is brilliant, very thorough, and has the latest equipment. Her office is nicely appointed and relaxing. Her staff is kind and professional. My whole family goes there and we love it! When I recently had an issue arise, she did not hesitate to refer me to a trusted specialist who turned out to be wonderful. Her practice is a blessing and an asset to this area!
