Julio’s Liquors

Used to go there all the time. The wine selection has been continuously declining since the previous wine manager left a year. Current staff lacks knowledge of current wine market and the wine selection is dominated by large wine company shlock. if you want whiskey Julio’s is the best place to go, but for wine I would go elsewhere.

Good selection, reasonable prices and above all no lock boxes around the store like in Total wine natick store!
Good selection of hot sauces too! Friendly staff helped me pick couple of great hot sauces!

This place really is as good as it gets. Great tasting events, great selection, great staff and great prices. Simple as that.

If Julio’s liquor do not have it… «It» probably doesn’t exist. Jk. I was visiting over he holidays and I have been searching for some rare whiskies (scotch and/​or bourbon). This place has it all and at great prices. I am from California and this place has a beer/​wine/​liquor selection the rivals any high end joint where I am from. I also met the owner that went out of his way with my search. This guy is no joke when it comes to knowing his whiskies. Thanks guys for an awesome experience! See you soon! I am going to have my stuff shipped to my brother in law’s place in Worcester unless you can ship to California.

Model small business. Terrific selection. Always something to sample. The larger tasting events are really something special. Prices are typically on par with other options, but the selection and way they treat their customers sets Julio’s apart.

Best Liquor store! It’s worth the drive if you are not close. They have a huge selection and their prices are very good.

Great selection of beer, wine and liquors. Also an area to buy cigars, cheeses, snacks and gifts. Wine and liquor tastings during the weekends and some evenings. The staff is also willing to bring you into their tasting rooms to try different liquor or sign up for the wine tasting club where you can sample different wines in the back of the store.
Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Large parking lot with plenty of spaces. Grab a coffee at Starbucks next door before you go shopping.
They are a little high in some of their pricing but the wide selection and knowledgeable staff more than make up for it.

This place is awesome. They have a great beer selection and a nice wine selection. The staff is very friendly and the place is clean. I find myself wandering the isles often while out for a liquor run.

Great beer and wine selection with decent prices. I was surprised to find a nice selection of cigars there too, which were decently priced too. Next time I’ll have to check out their walk-​in humidor.

This is the place to be for your wine needs. They have an outstanding selection and the staff is so well educated on their products. I often take a picture of a wine label when out in restaurants and can usually find it at Julios. If they don’t have it, they have ordered it for me.

Julio’s quite possibly has the best selection of liquors and beers in the greater Boston area. They carry some some exotic and hard to find liquors such as chartreuse and linie aquavit. The prices are very reasonable too!
You’ll be hard pressed to not find what you’re looking for here.
They also have a specialty foods section but I’ve never tried that

Great selections of craft beer with a «mix a 6 option» for everything, even those in the fridge; good selection of spirits, OK variety of wine, and a mediocre but quite average selection of cigars.
This is my go to store most of the time and they do a good job of keeping seasonal craft beers in stock and will also host tastings pretty consistently.
I would vote it 5 stars but I have to say that they seem to find the biggest a-​holes to work the registers. I don’t think I’ve ever had a decent experience checking out. They all seemed pissed off like they don’t want to be there. Not sure what the deal is there.
However, the employees roaming the beer section are great.

Not the closest but I’ll go out of my way to shop here. Excellent beer and liquor selection, knowledgeable staff. If you visit on a weekend chances are you’ll run into vendors giving out samples or some sort of beer or wine fest. Recommended.

Place is great! I’m not a big drinker but I love the Hot sauce section. They have a little room with Stonewall Kitchen, Hot sauce, and BBQ sauces/​seasoning which is great. GREAT selection of bourbon and almost nota bod cigar collection either!

Seriously, they have everything here.
It’s also one of the few liquor stores I don’t feel like I’m going to get shot in. It’s clean, well-​run, and helpful staff. Seriously, the customer service from the staff here is awesome. If they don’t know an answer, they tell you as such, then they tell you they’re going to go get someone who *does* know the answer. And they even go get that person! Common sense, but they seem to be the only place in the area that knows how to do it.

Julio’s Liquors
I had heard about this place from a few friends and finally got a chance to experience it for myself.
The parking lot is a decent size for the size of the building, but it was packed on Saturday (day before Easter).
As you walk in, you’re facing a vast wine area, but don’t forget to look directly to the left as you walk in because there is a fantastic Stonewall Kitchen area. We picked up a few jars of delicious jellies.
I am not a wine consumer, but I would imagine they would have almost anything to satisfy a person or a party’s preference. There were many people milling about reading labels and speaking with staff.
Speaking of staff, they are very visible and extremely friendly and willing to help you in anyway. Two staff members were at each register, one was ringing and the other was running to get boxes for product, yes, boxes. All of the customers I saw that day walked out with at least one box filled with alcohol.
The reasons we had a box like so many other customers; selection and price. This place is competitive. They have a VAST selection and the prices were extremely competitive.
There was a Lagunitas tasting the day we were there and as I was talking to the representative a store lead approached me to tell me about a Beer Fest they are having on site on May 17^th from 1−4p. I wish I could go, if you are in the area, please try to attend. Supporting a great business and the ability to sample some great beers and rare ones too I hear.
This place is easy to get to from 495/​Rt. 9. This will certainly be one of my go to places for beverages.

Hands down one of the best liquor stores in the state of Massachusetts. The owners consistently provide free samplings to the general public. There is potential no product that they don’t carry. If you’re a big fan of brown spirits this shop has almost everything that you could ever want. They also carry a large selection of private barrel whiskey.

Searched for closest liquor store. This place is pretty awesome and big! Many different selections and liquor that i have never heard of. Prices are reasonable and their were several free samples. This is my new go to liquor store :)

They have easily the best beer selection in the area, even better than Wegmans, but not as cheap. Still, they have frequent specials which means you can walk away with a steal most of the time, it just might not be what you went in for. The wine and liqour selection is great too and they have some food (hot sauces etc) as well.

I like the selection and the prices are reasonable but they need to learn how to treat their customers better. I walked to the register with a bottle of wine and the female worker behind the register gave me a flat look like «there’s no way you can be 21.» While the male cashier rung me up she looked over my license, then put it thru the electronic scanner. Once finished she handed it back to the male cashier and said «all set» to which he replied «All set???» like, he’s really of age? Then I stood there awkwardly for 8 seconds waiting for them to put the bottle in a bag, unless that was supposed to be my job?
The time prior to that I was with a coworker who left his license in his cubicle. They refused to sell me anything even though I was the purchaser and I had a valid ID. At first the employees lied claiming there is a state law that requires everyone at the register to be ID’d even if they’re not buying, however when I called them on it and asked for a manager they later admitted it was store policy. There were no signs stating this policy and according to this policy they would not sell to me for a minimum of 24 hours.
Long story short, I understand liquor licenses are expensive and not worth the risk of losing but that doesn’t mean you should be rude to every young face and treat them like a criminal. This is age discrimination at its finest.
I will be back here again since the location is convenient. I hope a manager reads this so I don’t have to put up with this again.
