Had a check engine light on while existing the west entrance of Yellowstone. They quickly hooked it up with a computer and diagnosed the problem which was caused by a leak in the fuel evaporation system. They spent a great length of time to explain to me that because the leak was tiny it had no effect on the car’s performance. So they simply cleared the check engine light with a very reasonable charge. I love their honesty and professionalism! The car had no issues for the rest of my big trip!

Had a noise in my brakes so I called them up. They got me in immediately and then after puttig it up on the rack and making sure it wasn’t anything legimate, told me it was just debris. They washed them off and charged me for 20 minutes of labor. Very happy with the service.

I owe these guys and gals a huge Thank You. When our motorhome required immediate engine care they saved the vacation. Parts were ordered for the next day and the work was completed by early afternoon. In the meantime we were put back together for the evening so we could return to the KOA and sleep in our motorhome. The total cost was most reasonable. These people are as good as it gets. Thank You

Randys Auto repair took care of my horrible experience in West Yellowstone. The park is contracted out by an independent towing company and is forced to be fair to distribute all breakdowns in the park that need work done in West Yellowstone. I asked the driver of the tow truck who should I drop my truck off at to be repaired. He suggested Randys, West Yellowstone repair, and Jakes. I let him decide and found myself at Jakes. Jake said He would get to it as soon as he could. I get a call later that evening from Jake himself, «Do you want the bad news or the really bad news?». I was shocked to hear that my Chevy 1500HD motor was shot and needed to be replaced. I asked Jake «What are my options?». He says «I could fix it for $ 5700 or I could buy it from you for $ 1000. Wow, you got to be kidding me!!! First he waits til the end of the day to even look at it, Second he does not even pop the hood to conclude the motor is shot, Third he insults me with a measly grand for truck worth $ 8000 in the poor condition it was in. I called my mechanic back home 1100 miles away and he says get a second opinion. Randys was the only shop that would make time to take a closer look at my truck. Turns out a spring was broke and a valve was stuck. A few days later my truck was repaired and on the road. Thank you Heather for making time for me and getting my family and my truck back home. And, Shame on you Jake. Who knows how many people you ripped off!!!

Randy’s was great. In the middle of our vacation they got our Jeep repaired in no time, and their prices were better than expected for a tourist town. Thanks guys!

I agree with the 1^st reviewer about excellent and communication. While on a 4,000 mile road trip, I suddenly noticed that my tires were not wearing evenly. With 2,000 miles left to go in my trip, I decided I needed to rotate my tires and already had a fly fishing tour planned for the next day. After talking with the shop, they fit me in early the next morning before my fishing trip. They were quick and responsive and very fair on pricing/

Excellent service & communication from Terry (desk) and Jake (mechanic)! We were traveling in a rented RV when it developed a bone-​jarring front-​end shake at medium to high speeds. We were able to drop off the RV before hours so that we could go on our already scheduled (and paid for activities). Because we were out of cellphone coverage much of the time, we were able to communicate with VM messages. Plus, they were communicating with the RV owners regarding permission to do the work & payment. Bottom line, what could’ve easily turned into a vacation nightmare didn’t due to their efforts.
