Spent 2 nights at one of their log cabins. Modern, clean, very comfortable, fresh mountain air, and an incredible large jacuzzi bath tub. We would definitely return.

The Good– Log cabin classic feel. This is also a negative in some ways. Wifi does not go through the walls of the cabin. Porch with light attached to the front of the cabin. Large tub in the cabin. The location is blocks away from the city center within walking distance. The Bad– our cabin was the first cabin next to the street and main entrance. The front door to cabin did not feel as secure as I would have liked. Double bed room, far corner of the cabin by the head of the bed seemed to not have been cleaned in a long time. There was a considerable spider web and grey dust on the green carpet in the far corner. The locations of the power outlets were not well thought out. They seemed to be for cleaning and not charging person electronics. The mold on the shower curtain takes the cake. I wonder how long it takes for mold to develop in that environment. The bed felt old and worn out, with a thick memory foam topper placed on top to cover up the age of the bed. Purpose of stay– This location was used as a cleanup stop after days of camping in Yellowstone National Park. Overall– I should have spent the extra money and stayed next door. I can do without the ambiance.

This a great place to stay! It’s very cozy and clean, and is right by the West entrance to Yellowstone. The staff is wonderful and helpful, and it even has a fireplace and jetted tub. The only downside is you can’t get wifi in your room. It’s a small price to pay for a wonderful experience! HIGHLY recommend!

We loved our little cabin! We traveled with our 2 dogs and stayed for 3 nights. It was so nice to have a place to park right next to our room and a dog potty area right behind. Bonus that we weren’t sharing our walls with anyone so if the dogs barked a little, as dogs are prone to do, I didn’t have to feel too horrible. The only thing we wished it had was a fridge, but we made do with a cooler bag and refilling the ice at the front desk daily.

Really cozy place. The best place in Yellowstone. Considering we stay in the awful old faith inn last night, this hotel is way too amazing. And make sure to book the room with fireplace. It very worth it.

Great place for a family to stay multiple days. My family of five stayed in a larger cabin for 4 nights, and everyone loved the extra space. No Wifi in the cabin which was a mixed blessing since my kids had to be off-line whole time. Very close to all conveniences in West Yellowstone and less than 5 min driving from the YNP entrance.

We got into West Yellowstone on a Friday afternoon after backpacking for 7 days in the park. Everywhere we stopped was booked! I was exhausted and needed a shower ! Another hotel had a list of openings and recommended the Hibernation Station. We stopped in and she gave us a deal. An awesome cabin with a Cal-king bed and a jacuzzi tub for $ 159 ! Yahoo ! The cabin was amazing ! All the furniture is very rustic and the bed was just gorgeous. I thought the space was just fantastic. There are a couple of reasons I did not give 5 stars. Housekeeping could have been a little better and the hot water heater started to fade after 2 showers. They do have onsite laundry and recommended a fantastic place for dinner however. We would definitely stay there again !

While traveling throughout the Yellowstone area we came across this place, and we were so happy about our discovery. This place was so nice and the staff was super friendly, offering ideas where to eat, shop, visit. I was very impressed. We arrived later in the day and all they had left was a honeymoon cabin which didn’t bother me. It was decorated rustic cabin but had amenities a plenty.

Reserved 2 single story cabins that were next door to each other, however, when we checked in the lobby clerk couldn’t find keys for 1 of the rooms. She gave us «housekeeping keys» as she called them in place of the missing keys. We quickly learned the key opened both cabins, it was a master key. One of the cabins had not been cleaned, and housekeeping staff had gone home for the day. The lobby clerks solution was to move my sister to another cabin that was an upstairs unit in another section of the complex. Cabin #24 was outdated, but that was not a concern. Of concern was the dirty pillow case on one of the pillows. A large, heavy wood table in the room tipped oven when we placed a grocery bag on it, the base of the table was uneven making the table unstable and unusable. The carpeting is old and in need of cleaning. Note that the 13″ televisions was too small to be viewable. The amenities were lacking. There was nowhere to place your luggage other than the floor. Supplies for the coffee maker included one small packet of coffee, no decaf, 2 sugar packets and no creamer. Drawers in the armoire were broken. Cabin #50 is an upstairs unit(it didn’t meet the needs of one of our party with disabilities). The bathroom door is made of knotty pine. One of the knots had fallen out and was filled with a wad of toilet paper. The knot hole is at eye level and is about 2″ in diameter. Note that the 13″ television was difficult to view. I notified the front desk immediately of the issues, she responded by giving us tickets to a movie. The tickets went unused. The entire complex is in a parking lot setting, not in the woods as one might think. You can only access the free Wi-Fi in the internet cabin, NOT from your own cabin. We spent over $ 950.00 for 2 cabins for 2 nights.

My husband and I spent a week at Hibernation Station last month. The staff was very friendly and even went so far as to decorate our cabin for my birthday while we were away in Yellowstone for the day. To say they made my birthday is an understatement. They put up balloons, streamers, and even bought a wonderfully yummy cake! All because my husband went into the office to ask where he could buy a cake. They took the ball from there and ran. I love you guys! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the of the broken front door and the wonky ceiling fan.

These cabins are arranged in a lot right next to the discovery center. You pull your car up right outside the cabin. They were adding more cabins when we visited. The cabins are nice enough; the weirdest part is the bathroom, where the toilet was oddly placed close to the counter, and the shower curtain wasn’t quite sufficient for the open-end tub. But the owners were friendly and greeted us, and there was plenty of space for our dog to do her thing. We were able to walk to a few restaurants(none that remarkable) and really didn’t spend too much time in the cabin, since we got up early to go into the park.

Cabins were clean yet a little out dated. Don’t think that these cabins are in a woodsy setting… they are set in what looks like a parking lot. They are quite close together as well. The cabins offer little more privacy than a hotel room. The Wi-Fi is kinda of funky. You have to go to a conference room to use it as it it not strong enough to reach the other cabins. The Hot tub was kinda funky but clean. Bottom line — If you are going for a romantic weekend in West Yellowstone and are not planning on going into the Park, this is worth it. If you are trying to do the tourist thing you won’t spend much time in the cabin and it is not worth it.
