Looks like a dive. I had a Nick’s wiener with everything(wiener, mustard, onions & celery salt). Very good dog, great fries. Ok, the Wiener was so good I got a second one. Too bad this place is so far from home. I was on trip from Providence to Newport and detoured with 2 of my co-workers to here. I will return, someday.

In the one area where you can’t throw a stick and not hit pizza or Chinese, it was good to see this little diner serving up hot wieners. It is in the same building as a Gas Station, which kind of hides it. But, if you find it, it is worth the stop. Folks behind the counter are friendly and attentive. They interact with the customers. They are cooking things up for you right in front of eyes, not hidden kitchen in back. If they mess up, you see it. I had the simple 2 all the way, coffee milk and fries. The wieners were snappy, the sauce was good(could have added a little more though) and the fries were hot and crispy. They were also cooking up late breakfast for some folks that looked fantastic. So if you are in the mood and close by, worth the stop.
