Clean and cozy The Robert Memorial Library is a baby as far as New England Libraries go. Founded in 1967 with additions and renovations in 1991, it certainly doesn’t have the history of most libraries in the state. It definitely has a modern look and feel to it without the cool ambiance of the historic libraries. But it does function as a useful and friendly place find a book or do some work or research. The librarians here are great and willing to assist and help in any way they can and willing answer any stupid questions with a smile. The library is pleasantly decorated with lots of plants and numerous cozy places to sit. The children’s section is well design and definitely user friendly. No, it certainly doesn’t have the glorious feel of walls dripping with history and age. But it does serve as a cool, clean and cozy place to find a book or do some work.
