Formal Affair Tuxedo’s & Tailor Shop

As a part of a wedding party, I must say, I’m REALLY disappointed in Formal Affair Tuxedo & Tailor Shop. Almost as disappointed as I am that Unilocal won’t allow a 0-​star review; because this would certainly be one.
I’m not sure where to even start, the whole process was a nightmare. Not only was the institution run down, the employees were also rude and sassy; Kevin especially. Between mis-​selling the tuxedos (I’m a relatively slender male, but I learned that the term «slim fit» is VERY open to interpretation) and mandating that they be returned on Memorial Day when I picked up the tuxedo (despite the high price we paid to rent the tuxedo), the overall experience was beyond AWFUL. They ruined many people’s Memorial Day plans, caused their paying customers to wait in traffic due to parades (most of the wedding party was from Connecticut), and were threatening late fees if the tuxedos weren’t returned on the holiday (as if I didn’t already pay MORE than enough for the oversized tuxedo).
I would not recommend this business to anyone, anywhere. In fact, the minute you turn down Westfield Street looking for tuxedos, is the exact same minute you should turn around and look elsewhere.

I absolutely recommend Formal Affair. Kevin & staff are professional, friendly, down to earth people and I’m very happy with the rental. Great selection and very reasonably priced and no hidden last minute fees. Thanks so much!
