Thank you Antonio and his crew for creating and building our beautiful outdoor patio cover. Every time someone comes over they say «Wow» when they walk out our back doors. Antonio met with us several times to discuss our different options. He explained all of our options in detail and helped us make our decision based on our specific needs. His crew was very clean, on time, and informative throughout the building process. Thank you so much for creating exactly what we envisioned! It’s perfect!

i guess it’s hit or miss with this company based on reviews. I had an appointment for an estimate and they didn’t show. I called and left a voice mail but never got a call back. I know the company is in the Sacramento area and I live in the Bay Area but they have been advertising locally and the person I spoke to when making the appointment indicated they wanted to expand their customer servicing area. I should have read the Unilocal reviews before wasting my time. I would definitely pass on this company.

This is a great company! Antonio and his crew made sure Steve and I were totally satisfied with our gorgeous patio. It is customized to our Napa home design and has added beauty and «liveability» to our back yard. He spends extra time and effort going the extra mile. I highly recommend this company!

Antonio and his crew worked very hard for long hours to complete our project in time for a family gathering. The guys were a bit late the first day due to a delay by the supplier of the materials, but I understand stuff happens, and Antonio kept me posted on their ETA. Our funky old wiring created a bit of a challenge for installing a new electrical outlet, but the problem was solved in time for our party. The style and dimensions of our lovely new patio cover are just right for the shape and size of our yard. Hope to enjoy that space for many years to come.

I decided to use these guys for the install of a patio cover at my house and I everything went great.
Estimate: I spoke with one of their sales/​designers, Matt, and scheduled a time to come out to my house to give me an estimate. Matt showed up on time and I walked him through what I was envisioning for my cover. I thought he was only going to get measurements and work up a quote but he also offered good input and recommendations on what he thought would work best. For example, he had some sample colors and described the different combinations available. He was very professional in his approach without talking down which is normal with a lot of vendors I have noticed. He took down my info, left a business card and by the next day I had a formal quote emailed to me.
Pre-​Install: We decided to go with Patio Designers for our cover and Matt worked closely with me on the scheduling of my install. I told him that I was on a time crunch and was planning on celebrating Mother’s Day at my house and was hoping to have the cover installed by that time. Note that I mentioned this to him with a little over a week before Mother’s Day. He called me Tuesday during that week and told me that they would be ready to go the next day at 8 am. We decided to move forward with that date.
Install: The owner, Antonio, called me Wednesday morning to let me know that his workers would be arriving at 8 am and he would be on-​site as well. They arrived on time and I met with Antonio because I wanted his guys to hide some speaker wires behind one of the panels. He spoke with my guys about my request and then they began work. I was a little skeptical that they would finish in one day because there were only 2 installers. I left them at home while I ran some errands/​work and by the time I came back in the afternoon around 3 pm they were finishing up. They also cleaned up their work area. Antonio showed up as they were finishing up in order to inspect their work and answer any questions I might have.
Post-​Install: Days after the install I noticed that in the evening the sun still hit under some of the patio cover area. Antonio and Matt were both helpful enough to recommend some patio shades that are available at Costco. They even offered some advice on how to install them and the types of screws I should use.
During my Mother’s Day party all of our guests were surprised at how great everything looked and were shocked in how fast everything was done. Overall I had a great experience with these guys. They were all very professional and would definitely recommend them.

This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Started with the appointment. I called and made an appointment and they seemed friendly. The day of the appointment they did not show up. After about 2 hours I called and the lady who I talked to was very nice and apologized, saying it was her fault she forgot to tell the owner, Antonio, about the appointment. No big deal stuff happens. Rescheduled the appointment and Antonio showed up and the appointment went ok. First time meeting him he wasn’t very talkative, but not all people are so no big deal. Later turned out it was arrogance. The design was complete and I signed the contract to start.
Antonio does not appreciate his clients after the contract is signed. Antonio said it would take one week for the parts to show up and 2 days to complete. After 3 weeks still no parts. After multiple delays in showing up to my house to start the louvered patio cover, we finally made an appointment on a monday at 9:00am. At 10am, i sent him a text and asked where he was. Antonio replied with, «I didn’t know we had an appointment.» I reminded him he told me would be here at 9:00am Monday. He responded with saying well most people are not there when we show up to work so he didn’t know I would be at the house waiting for him. Around 11:00am, they showed up at my house. Instead on knocking on the front door, he walked straight into my backyard without saying a work to me. I have two big protection dogs and had they been in my backyard he probably would have sued me when they bit him. Luckily I had them in the house at the time. I mean who just walks into someone’s backyard after showing up two hours late and doesn’t say a work to them. Arrogant people do!
So now I have to walk out and make contact with him as he is spray painting in my backyard. Antonio was spray painting for the posts, which of course were in the wrong place and he was one post short. After some discussion, he added an additional post with additional cost to me and would not help out of the cost at all, even after all the delays and him getting the plans wrong. Antonio referred to the contract I signed saying he was not responsible for delays. Ok don’t want to make your clients happy, got it. On top of that, the post in the end had a huge scratch in it.
So the next day after setting the posts, of course they show up two hours late again and started around 11am. Now in the contract he told me it would take two days to complete, which did not seem to matter at all to him even though he had thrown it in my face earlier about the post. At the end of the second day, the workers said they had about two more hours left but they would have to come back a third day. Well, had they showed up on time they would have finished on time. At this point I noticed a huge pile of dirt on the side of my house from when they dug up the posts. I asked Antonio if they were going to clean the dirt up and he told me it was my responsibility. Who does that? You make a mess you clean it up. You don’t leave a client with a huge pile of dirt. So unprofessional.
So they finish and there were several problems. Uneven cuts, exposed metal, the louvers were not overlapping properly. Just poor work over all. I asked Antonio to come back and caulk the gaps and he said he would come on Saturday. You think he showed, absolutely not. No call, no show.
After threatening him with not paying him, they showed up several days later and finished.
They still however broke the cover to my waterproof plug and never said a word to me, stole two of my shovels, left the pile of dirt and left trash in my yard.
Stay far far far away from this company. So terrible, rude, slobs and apparently thieves also. No concept of making customers happy. I mean I don’t know if you know how much a louvered system cost but its not cheap.
