Horrible service. I made appts for wedding party and mother of bride. Stylist were taking hours because they were just talking and talking amongst selves. Their hair style were not professional, it all became undone because they did not use hairspray. Bridal party had appts at 9 and stylist didn’t start until 10:20. They didn’t do hairstyles they were told. Horrible. Very unprofessional.

Turned to Unilocal for a Haircut and it didn’t disappoint. Shannon gave me a GREAT haircut. She really took her time and made sure I was happy. This is my new place! Thank you Shannon you made this guy with thin balding hair look good, not an easy task. Much appreciated!

LOVE SHANNON! Don’t trust my hair with anyone else. Shannon is friendly and professional and fun, and keeps up to date with the latest trends. Love the atmosphere of this salon too, it’s got a neighborhood feel, everyone talks to everyone during their services and its not stuffy and snobby like some places I’ve been.

Natalia is amazing! I went into the salon back in December. I called to see if there were any last minute appointments available and she was able to get me in on my lunch in the same day! I got a cut and style because I had dyed my hair on my own. She put in a shine treatment and something else to make my hair look beautiful when I left! Every step of the way she was letting me know what was going on. She has great attention to detail and my cut turned out amazing. Thank you for the kind service! I appreciate it. Next time I will have her color and cut my hair.

Natalia is awesome! I usualy do a color/​cut and she does a wonderful job and gives honest advice. She’s very flexible and prices are great! She is attentive to your needs, you can’t go worng when having her help you with your hair styling needs.

Natalia is consistently provides the best hair cut, color and style in the area. I have lived in the area for 8 years and for the first six i spent going from one stylist to the next. I would get a decent hair cut, then return only to be disappointed. Finally, we met Natalia and have had great experiences again and again. NATALIA TAN is the best stylist I have ever had! My former hair stylist moved out of state and I was referred to Natalia nearly a year ago. Since Natalia has been cutting and coloring my hair I receive compliments and inquiries almost daily about who does my hair. HOW LUCKY AM I!!! Natalia provides me with special care and service. She works painstakingly to create beautiful and lustrious color especially suited to me and my hair type and she uses advanced techniques in cutting, coloring, and syling. I not only have a sylist who knows and uses the best practices in her profession, but I also have a sylist who is one of the sweetest and finest young ladies I know. I love this salon! I have thin, fine hair and I finally found a salon that would listen. Natalia is the greatest; my hair was extremely damaged and after going to her for a year now I am able to run my hands through my hair. It looks and feels healthy. She listens and shows me how to style my hair and the different products to use for the various new styles out there.

I don’t always write reviews. but when I do, it’s for awesome service! Natalia did my hair again and absolutely blew me away. She did a soft ombré (sombre!) and nailed it. She’s kind, genuine, and very talented. Stop looking for a new salon and just go here already :) you’ll be glad you did.

About six weeks ago, I finally decided to give this place a shot since I drive by everyday on my way to work. I happened to call on a Saturday and Natalia was able to schedule me in a moments notice. First of all, I really liked the down to earth feel of the salon. No frills or foo foo business. You can tell these girls know their stuff. Natalia was able to give my thinning, dry hair some shape and some shine and, she did it with precision. My husband complimented my hair cut when I got home and I look forward to my next visit. I had medium length hair & wanted to cut it really short, which is really stressful. I walked into Moxie & let Natalia work her magic. I let her pick the cut and highlights. It looks great & I feel she did a wonderful job with a client who’s only direction was for her to «just cut it off»

I found this place on Unilocal and I am so happy I did! I called one hour before they closed in a bit of pickle to get a haircut. Natalia was able to fit me in at the end of her day which was super helpful. Not only was she extremely nice and friendly but she have a killer haircut! I am horrible at explaining what I want even with a picture but Natalia figured it out and she rocked it!!! I love the cut and I couldn’t ask for anything better :) I will be coming back for a color soon!

I have been going to Moxie Salon for about 6 years now. Shannon has been my hairdresser that entire time and I totally trust her with my hair. She is always so intuitive and helpful with what I want.

I have been going to Shannon for a couple if years now and I am SO happy I found her. She does an amazing job and is very helpful with deciding what colors and cuts work best for my skin tone and safe shape. She has also showed me couple if techniques for styling my hair and products that would be good for my hair.

I wanted to up the 4 star rating I gave back in May to 5 stars. Shannon is a miracle worker with color. She has saved my daughters hair from bad bleach/​color jobs she had over a year ago from a different salon. It’s taken awhile but Shannon has made my daughters hair healthy again and she still was able to color it for her. She also colors my hair and does a great job. I’m extremely happy with everything Shannon does. I’m so glad that I found this salon!

I should also add that there are only two women in the world, that I know of, that can carve my husband’s wavy blonde hair into his signature high-​and-​super-​tight, and one of ‘em is Shannon.

Shannon at Moxie proves you don’t get what you pay for, you get more. She gave me a fabulous haircut and style. I walked in with Holly Hobby hair and walked out with Jennifer Aniston hair. My overall rating is four out of five stars due to the salon atmosphere. It is a small fun salon but a little noisy. You can get «atmosphere» at a posh salon downtown but I recommend saving $ 30+ and visiting Shannon at Moxie.

Dawn has been doing my hair for over 10 years, and I wouldn’t let anyone else touch it. The few times I have, I’ve regretted it. Most of her customers, like me, have been following her around for years.
Don’t be fooled by the W. Sac address… Moxie does quality work in a very friendly and unpretentious environment. Three thumbs up!
