Growing Tree Early Education Center

Our daughter has been at Growing Tree Early Education Center since August 2010. She started there when she was about 16 months old.
Up until then, she had been going to her aunt’s house… so you can imagine the fear we had finding a stranger to care for our «one and only.» We did quite a bit of researching child care programs since I had previously worked at Child Action, Inc. Went through dozens of centers and family child care homes and was feeling exasperated!
Thankfully, a colleague recommended Briana at Growing Tree Early Education Center. She is right off Hwy 80 @ Jefferson in West Sacramento (easy off and on) so convenient for us working downtown.
From the moment we walked through the doors, I knew she was a good fit for us! Where our daughter had been tentative at other sites, she walked right in and plopped on the floor. She explored the toys, which are all at kid-​height along with tables and chairs.
Although this is a home environment, there is an open area for the kids to play with lots of natural light and easy access to the outdoors. Briana is organized and plans fun activities for the kids. They play outside as much as possible.
Briana has a nurturing, relaxed personality. She ensures that the kids are very safe but also lets them be themselves, make messes and explore. She plans her meals and feeds the kids well. She incorporates her own children in the program. As small business owners, we appreciate the flexibility in schedule that we need from time to time. Her mom is also a frequent help to her and our daughter loves Jenni just as much.
