West Palm Beach Marriott

Absolutely horrible customer service. Daja at the front desk was incompetent, rude, hostile, a smartass, and even cussed my wife under her breath. A check in process that should have taken 3 – 5 minutes took a half an hour. Will never be staying here again.

God location for PBI, City Place and downtown… very old feeling to this place and my room is extremely dated. Not worth the money, but since my company is paying, I will survive. There are many options in the area, and I would suggest doing your research before booking any hotel in West Palm Beach. The concierge lounge is ok, but mixed drinks, beer and wine aren’t free like many of the Hilton properties.

Not bad, quiet. Not real big on the amenities. friendly staff. Hotel is a bit older. Restaurant has a very limited and pricey menu. A bit Pricey. 200.00 per night with taxes included. Ice machine on 3^rd floor doesn’t work.

My standards for hotels are lower than those for restaurants. I’m a happy camper as long as I have: quiet room, clean bed/​bath, and front desk doesn’t mess up the reservation.
I stayed at WPB Marriot for two weeks and was very pleased overall. Lobby area and the outdoor lounge area is very neat at this Marriott.
Positives:
— Frequent free shuttle to City Place (restaurants, shopping, theatre, etc.)
— Courteous staff (Shout out to McNally)
— Stable wireless internet
— Free parking
— Free printing & office supplies in the lobby
— Fast elevator
— Nice views

This is Great hotel. The rooms are clean and ours was recently remodeled. If I were to compare this to the JW in Orlando, it would be a notch or two below, but I would return to this hotel anytime. It certainly meets Marriot standards. Walk to city place is about 3 blocks away where my wife loved shopping and we ate a few meals, but the walk was along a very busy road. I kind of felt beat up with all the cars zooming by but we walked back one block over and it was much nicer. Small pool area had live music,
Front desk was friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast buffet was very good but a bit pricey.

awesome hotel pool area is right next to a highway but u would never no it because of the beautiful tropical landscaping. great job. there is a wonderful courtyard that has various firepits and seating. this is a large area. room is spacious. the gym has all the necessities. this Marriott is more for business people and grou poo s. there seems to be no bars or restaurants within walking distanc ed but they have a shuttle. Flanigan and Rocco tacos are very nearby as are the outlets and this hotel is VERY near the palm Beach airport. The concierge was awesome. vwe met Chaplin and he is a hustler and very personable what an asset to this hotel. no other frills rooms are being updated. everyone is very friendly. small gift shop. free parking.

This is a very clean hotel conveniently located near the airport and City Place. The service was really good. My toilet kept running and flushing on its own and they sent someone to fix it very quickly.
Room service was also very good and fast. The fitness center was very clean and had lots of equipment.
The front desk was extremely helpful when I had trouble printing my boarding pass.

This hotel rocks! I stayed here this past weekend while I cruised to the Bahamas for one day and returned here. The staff is super friendly (shout out to Natalie and Ceceile… I hope I spelled their names correctly! These gals were awesome!!!), super accommodating (they held my luggage for me twice as I had arrived way early for check-​in and upon leaving, had a late flight), the bartenders genuinely interested in making conversation and making you feel at home.
There is some noise due to renovations/​construction but they let you know upon checking-​in. No biggie. I only heard some sawing/​drilling a few times in the morning while sleeping in and tuned it out. If it is a concern, be forewarned.
Oh, and they have a FREE shuttle that takes you all over the vicinity; from a ride to the airport for FREE to short trips to the CityPlace shopping center to Clematis St (for dining and nightlife). You can’t beat that. Omar from Columbia (one of the drivers) was such a sweetheart and so so helpful with his tourist tips. Also, they pick up for free too (just call their front desk in advance).
Best stay in South Florida ever!

I recently attempted to stay at this Marriott hotel for a conference. The rooms are dated, has mold type oder and the rooms are very small. I was told this particular Marriott used to be a Sheraton. Go Figure!
The pictures on the website are very misleading and the prices per room do not fit the accommodations. In fact, for the cost you might as well stay at one of the Category-​3 Marriott Hotels.
I am a Marriott Hotel Platinum level member and needless to say, I was very disappointed!
The West Palm Beach Marriott needs a make-​over to bring it up to the Marriott Standards with the amenities to go along with it.

This is a standard Marriott. Nothing makes it stand out in my mind but it’s still a solid hotel. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. My favorite part is walking through the doors and smelling the lobby! It smells fantastic!!! There is a restaurant on site and they serve Starbucks coffee. There are a few computers in the lobby for public use. The outdoor pool area is pretty nice.
It’s within walking distance to City Place and a short drive to «downtown» area. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Love the smell when you come into the hotel the scenery is spectacular.
they have complimentary fresh fruit water, and cookies for the kids.
I absolutely loved the pool It was actually warm which blew me away every time I here a pool is heated I don’t expect it, because they usually aren’t.
The outdoor seating and grills were phenomenal! love that the hotel grows there own vegetables and plants in that area good to know that it’s fresh. Speaking of fresh I was so satisfied with the breakfast buffet. What a variety to choose from sooo delicious. My kids ate so much.
glad we decided to stay here. The transportation was also a plus the driver was very friendly and polite. Dropped us off right were the fun was happening.

I have stayed here twice recently. Both times the front desk personnel were extremely nice and professional. My rooms are typical southern FL flair Marriott style. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. I utilized the Internet — the speed was sufficient for my purposes. I also visited the Concierge Lounge. The staff there were attentive and unobtrusive. The food presented was very good. I am always appreciative of the healthy breakfast offerings. Overall, another example of what Marriott does right!

Everything good till someone opened my door without permission. Thanks god I had the lock door and they couldn’t get in.

I was here for a business meeting and the staff did a great job. Very clean and the banquet food was better than standard hotel food. Close to the convention ctr, but not the best part of town sort of off the highway. There are bars and restaurants with in walking distance. Lives up to the Marriott name.

I recently stayed at the West Palm Beach Marriott for a conference and I have to say it was a disappointment. While it appears to be recently renovated, the rooms leave a lot to be desired, especially for the price point.
The best thing going is the central location and the outdoor space. The outdoor areas are very inviting with plenty of seating options, fire pits and a nice pool area. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants and entertainment options.

Stayed here for a work conference. Room felt very clean. All staff I encountered were very friendly. Bed was quite comfy, and I loved the pillows! Shuttle was relatively quick to get whenever we needed it to and from the airport, conference center, and restaurants. Free computer access with a printer in the lobby. The breakfast buffet was excellent, although service was a bit slow. Overall, great stay.

This is a great hotel because it exceeds expectations. The staff is wonderful, and actively engaged in making you feel welcome. Lovely pool and outside bar area. Superior concierge lounge and staff. Very reasonable rates. Everything is good here.

We stayed here for Sunfest. which they were severely understaffed for. We wanted to get food poolside and there weren’t any waiters in site, but you could see the manager leaning and lounging by the front desk pretty much the whole time. They definitely needed more people working for such a large occupancy weekend.
Room was pretty dirty too. There was blood on one of our pillowcases, cherry stems on the floors presumably from the people before us, and I found a whole bunch of makeup and stuff under one of the beds. The bathroom this time was very small too.
They do have free shuttles to SunFest which is awesome… Might try to stay at a different hotel next year for sure.
The bartenders at the front bar were very nice.

Stayed here one night with free Marriott night. The location is great for access to the rail and the outside of the city. The hotel was nice and well maintained especially for an older building. Workout room was very nice and the concierge lounge had a fantastic view and breakfast.
There were ants in my bathroom when I checked in but the front desk got me a new room and comped me points in no time at all. The staff was fantastic and very responsive. Minus one star for the location as I don’t think I would stay here if I wanted to hang out in the city, otherwise a great property!

It’s a Marriott! They’re all the same. Comfy beds and grand sliding door entrances.
I came here for a convention, and I noticed that all their meeting rooms are huge. Nothing fancy, just your typical conference rooms with movable walls and chairs that are stiff and not comfy. Huge plus– you can adjust the position of the walls to your liking to create the ideal space for your meeting.
The bathrooms are really nice. They have marble countertops, and it makes you feel like you are royalty.
