History

Established in 1985.

The Serenity Bookstore has been a staple in the Recovery Community for years as the” go to” place for books, dvd’s, medallions, jewelry and some of the most unique gifts one could imagine. It’s newer location in the lobby of the Hanley Resource Center in West Palm Beach Florida offers those taking advantage of many 12 step groups meeting at the center direct access to the store before and after groups. The center also is home to many speakers, special events and comedians with the bookstore available for purchase of speciality products they would offer. A real hidden jem in the community.

I’ve been the manager of The Serenity Bookstore since 2003 and I just cant say enough about how I LOVE coming into work each day. I welcome the opportunity of interacting with members of the Recovery community on a daily basis and I’m touched by peoples compassion and their genuine seeking of trying to live a different way. I believe our store offers HOPE– by not only all we have to offer in terms of materials, but through our loving, knowledgable staff who are always here to guide you.
