I was in town for St. Louis Cardinals spring training games, and stopped in for some drinks and watch the basketball game. The bartender was so rude, it took more than 5 minutes to get his attention when there was only a couple people at the bar. He wouldn’t turn on the game for us, ignored us and then when it was time to close out our tab it took forever to have him close us out. So we left our cash on the bar and started to leave. Then the bouncer followed us to our car saying we didn’t pay our tab when clearly we did. Was very annoyed and disappointed. Never will be back again.

I was there with some friends for the Super Bowl. They were crowded, and I think they handled themselves very good. The food was prepared just the way I like it, I had the Texas burger and fries it was delicious. Bartenders were friendly, lots of TVs, I sat outside and there were lots of chairs ready for lots of people. Drinks were good. No complaints.

I came here last night for the first time thinking it was going to be good like other Ale Houses that I’ve been to before. It was so dingy & run down. Also absolutely filthy. But that’s nothing compared to everything else. Their food is mediocre. Nothing special at all. The news was filming there while we were there so our waitress barely paid attention to us the whole time she just wanted to ‘be on TV’ like she told us. Anytime we needed something, it took her 20 minutes to just come to our table. After the horrible service & the mediocre food, my friend & I just wanted to get out of there. So when the bill came, my friend put in 30 $ cash & I put my card in. We told the ignorant waitress to pay with the cash & put the rest on my card. Sh ‘acted’ like she understood. Once my friend & I were already gone, I noticed that I was charged for the whole bill on my card PLUS the 18 $ I had to pay for myself. So when I called to tell them, the manager was so rude to me saying that at 4am my money from the whole bill will be voided back. Then she hung up on me. When I woke up the next morning, I checked to see if my money was back in & it was not. I will NEVER be going back to this ale house again except to go & get my money back. Stay away from this horrible establishment is my advice.

This is a good place to hang out if you’re into sports and want to watch the game. The food is good, the service is good. It used to be right around the corner of my house so I would go there often.

Stopped in here for lunch. I ordered a cup of the chicken chili and the Cuban Sandwich lunch special, with no mayo. The owner came out from the back and said that all the sandwiches have mayo on them, because they’re all pre-made in the morning. How hard is it to make a Cuban to order? No old sandwiches for me, I opted for the chicken bowl, blackened. In the meantime, the chili came out. Very hearty with lots of chicken, but it tasted burnt, it was beyond«smokey». It didn’t seem fresh, it was probably yesterday’s leftover stuff. The chicken bowl was pretty good. If I ever come back here, it’s probably what I’d get. Honestly, just go down the road to BJs Brewhouse. Better beer selection and better food.

Im calling the health inspector tomorrow because this is the most vile, disgusting place i have ever been. The bathroom was flooded with toilet water and there were feces on the toilet seats and the walls. The green carpet runs the length of the dining room, and it is wet and filthy. After seeing the restroom, I am honestly ashamed of myself for ordering food. Before you set foot in this place, just understand that you may contract syphilis. I am not trying to be funny, this place is that bad.

WTF??? Why do you call yourself an Ale House if you don’t have Ale House menu items!!! How stupid is that??? That would be like opening up a Macdonalds, and then deciding, «You know what, I’m not gonna serve burgers at my restaurant.» FAIL!!!

Met a friend here for lunch. Our server was attentive, friendly & knowledgeable. I had the club chicken wrap with fries and the wrap was good. Next time I’ll try the wings and some beer!

Dinner two nights ago was great. Went back tonight, had found a 20% off coupon in the local paper with a lobster advertised on top of ad and a $ 12.99 rack of ribs. Showed the coupon to our server upon ordering and they messed up both our orders. ended up eating while my wife waited for correct order. Anyway, came time for the check, and our server came back to table saying manager wouldn’t honor either coupon. Asked to speak to him and he blamed his server for not looking at coupon when taking order and said lobster was on special. even though it was pictured above coupon with no «special» written. Pretty bad attitude from manager and sloppy service from he server. Plenty of good eating in wpb without having to deal with that kind of thing. won’t be back!

#1 The Hostess was extremely rude and kicked my fiancé out for wearing a Tank Top. Saying there was a dress code. Then we called and nobody knew anything about guys not being aloud to wear them. It’s Florida it’s 100 degrees out!!! #2 We’ve been there multiple times and he always wore tank tops! Get your service right!

I was here for supper & beers on Fri 24 July. This was my fourth visit. Every other time I loved it. Fri night was a nightmare. The server was not knowledgeable about the beers, & was either stoned, stupid, or both. She was confused by my saying I have a food allergy. She got all the orders wrong, then served my soup after my main course. The beer was warm as well. I will go back, but I will never go on a busy night.

I will preface this by saying that our waitress was great. we had a long high top table for approximately 10 or so of my work colleagues. apparently several nights during the week this place runs a poker tournament. at one point some of our party were getting up to leave but others of us were still at the table. in the biggest faux pas of restauranteering, someone asked us to get up and leave because they needed that table for the tornament. I don’t know if this person was employed by the Ale House or was somehow separate and affiliated with the poker tournament, but it was not only rude but will cause me not to return to this place again. When there are that many people spending money and are enjoying themselves at a table THEY chose for us, to be asked to leave before everyone was ready is BS! Amateurs!

I was completely shocked at what passes for ‘service’ on the night of my most recent visit. Typically the service is slightly better than average, but tonight I just couldn’t believe it. If you don’t like interacting with people. or enjoy the service industry. If you don’t like your job, then why do it? The server made zero eye contact. Completely disconnected, and covered in tattoos, it was as if she’d have rather been anywhere else than the Ale House. But the real kicker,(the reason I’m posting here) was after waiting a total of 20 minutes for the bill .and then waiting to pay — was the 18% gratuity they added for just me. I just couldn’t believe it — Seriously? I rarely tip less than ten bucks. I just don’t. Service has to be pretty urine-poor for me to not tip at least 10 bucks on an average 12 — 20.00 ticket. But usually, more often than not anyway, it’ll usually come out to at least 50%, but I don’t care. It’s fun to do and it brightens a server’s day. But here was a bill for around 10.00 staring me in the face with a $ 1.87 gratuity staring me in the face. along with a line offering me the option of «adding extra». Wow…what a horrible thing for a company to do to a server(that is, for one who actually knew their job and was good at it). I was going to leave at least $ 4.00… but just gave up. What a stupid and ‘out-of-touch’ way to do business. So I just added it up, left what was suggested and walked away(for the last time incidentally — I won’t be back) Sad. Note to management: A gratuity is just that. It’s not an obligation. It’s something the server earns based on how well they do their job. So If it’s something I’m going to be forced to pay, regardless of how well I enjoyed my visit — then just raise your prices by a few cents per item and be done with it. But please don’t insult me by telling ME how much I enjoyed it. And if you decided to take that route because too many of your servers were getting ‘stiffed’ in some way — perhaps you should revisit your training methods and teach them to get a little more involved in the process. If you just focus on ‘taking care of the guest’ then you won’t have to force them to ‘take care of you’.

Draft beer list is pretty decent and the Gorgonzola burger is on point. Staff is friendly and very welcoming to the returning customers. It also helps I work right next door! Looking for good beers and a nice burger or wrap, don’t see why this place isn’t your stop if you’re in the area.

The only reason I wouldn’t give this place a 5 star review is because it’s a chill spot and isn’t «fancy shamsy»…the food is great for the price. We ordered potaoto skins and wings which were on point. Can’t beat it as a sports bar and Albert, the bartender outside, is very attentive and professional.

This is the worst place ever. Waitress sucked. Management sucked. They added gratuity to our bill of only 4 people. Then when we tried to dispute it, the waitress had the balls to try and say one of us touched her in an inappropriate manner. My husband and I and one other couple. Really… The only reason we tried to dispute it was because the service was horrible. Wrong drinks, took my drink and food away before I was done. She did not deserve a large tip. Absolutely horrible.

+1) Karaōke and DJ this evening. Karaōke was so-so. DJ much better and outdoors. +1) I was afraid the food would not be as enjoyable considering the reviews but I was pretty amazed. The caprese salad was delicious followed by the steak salad with avocado, then desserts were the kosher hot dogs. +1) They were out of Apple cider so I tried the Apple Ale which was pretty tasteful. Now, I have two beers that I like! +1) My friends said their seafood meals were delicious and well cooked. –1) The downside was when gratuity was added to our bill and there were only four of us. Don’t they add gratuity when there are 6 or more? I could be wrong but that part made me sad since the cute sever took really great care of us and super accommodating.

As stated service was mediocre at best. Our hostess who seated us was miserable. Our male server was cold & miserable. The food was fine. Our food was brought out by Stephanie who was our bright spot of the night. While my husband was still eating he asked if we wanted to have dessert. Another person brought us a brownie ala mode w/forks(not spoons) & was miserable too. Our original server disappeared. And Stephanie came back to collect our check. Still very pleasant Ale House you need to have Stephanie retrain your staff. Because she was the only reason why the review was 3 stars. If she were our actual server it would have been a 5.
