NP Yellowcab

I think the NP stands for No Pickup. Please help me put them out of business by using any other cab company. Try Über even. They gave me no recourse and admitted they don’t even take notes as to who was assigned an address to find out where the drivers are when they inevitably don’t show up. I don’t even know if they are real. Others I’ve talked to have had the same problem.

If I could give a negative review, I would. They didn’t show up despite a call the night before. Were incomprehensible when I called, managed to get someone else to call me e who was going to bring my wait to the airport another 15 min. I had to wake my host at 520 to zip me to PBI. Barely made my flight because I hd TSA clearance. Do not use them!

My cousin did the reservation for me over the phone, they got the time wrong, said there was only suppose to be one person not two of us and that we had too many bags. Quite disappointed with the service.

PLUSES:
The male who took my reservation was pleasant.
The driver was super-​nice.
The vehicle arrived on time.
The price was reasonable.
MINUSES:
The male who took my reservation described the vehicles that would be available. Toyota. Nissan. Etc. I asked if they had any Lincoln Towncars, or equivalent. He offered a Lincoln Towncar. I agreed to the car.
A Nissan showed up. I called dispatch, reached a female, and asked where was the agreed to Lincoln Towncar. She said that she wasn’t the one who took the reservation and didn’t have any idea what I had reserved. She then put me on hold, came back a couple of minutes later, and explained to me that the Lincoln was not safe to use, so they had substituted the Nissan. I asked why they hadn’t given me a call to notify me… I next asked for a courtesy discount for the substitution. She asked her manager, and they denied my request and informed me, in so many words, to take it or leave it.
Needing to leave for the airport, I took the Nissan.
En route to the airport, the driver took a number of phone calls, which is fine, since it’s legal to drive and use a cell phone, in Florida. When I noticed the driver texting, I asked him to please not text and drive. He said he wasn’t texting, while he continued to type into his phone, explaining that he wasn’t texting, but that he was setting his phone to forward calls, so that he could drive without taking anymore calls… But he still typed, a little bit more, while we’re in the fast lane, driving 80 MPH. I asked him to watch the road and not his phone. He put his phone down.
Only a few moments later, we had to rapidly decelerate, in order to not rear end a dumptruck that had just pulled from the shoulder into the fast lane (our lane). Whew… Thank gosh that I had just insisted that the driver cease texting while driving.
Ending this review on a positive note, the driver did try very hard to be nice.
Considering that the driver was such a nice guy, I do feel bad writing such a negative review, but the truth is the truth.
(Note: The vehicle interior was a little dirty and not well-​maintained. Guess I’ve been spoiled by Über.)
EPILOGUE (Happy Ending)
Just arrived at airport. Driver was super-​nice. Also insisted on carrying bags to curbside check-​in. Was very concerned about the texting scenario. With a humble grin, offered a $ 20 discount. I told him that he was so nice that he should put the $ 20 in his own pocket, as additional tip, on top of the 20% I’d already given him. This nice ending caused me to bump up this review from one star to two stars.

Don’t use them. They’ll lose your reservation and tell you it’s your fault.
Made a reservation this morning with a male dispatcher to be picked up this afternoon to go to the airport. Ten minutes after the scheduled time, we called back and a female dispatcher had no record of our reservation. Instead of admitting the mistake, she put it on us and insisted that we had the wrong company because the make dispatcher said he never talked to us. What sort of company tells the customer they’re wrong? One with no integrity or customer service that doesn’t deserve your business.

Both times I have tried to use NP they have either not entered or butchered my reservation. They are not reliable.
