Comprised of experienced executives, consultants and volunteers, our 501©(3) organization was established by a coalition of public and private funders to improve the administrative and operational capacity of nonprofit organizations in our community.

Today, we are a premier membership organization focused on enhancing our nonprofit community’s effectiveness, efficiency, and ultimately impact.

We do this through these services and programs:

Accreditation, which enables organizations to demonstrate excellence in nonprofit management by adhering to a unified set of standards.

Education, which offers regularly offered workshops, customized training, and the Rising Leaders program to nonprofit staff and emerging leaders.

Management Services, which provides information technology, human resources and financial management to nonprofits.

History

Established in 2005.

Since 2005, Nonprofits First has worked to promote quality and accountability in nonprofits in Palm Beach County and elsewhere. By providing services, resources and opportunities, we have strengthened hundreds of agencies as they work to achieve a higher level of success.
