Founded in 1978 by Nick Petris and his son Steve Petris, Nickee’s Automotive Center Body & Paint has been family owned and operated from the beginning. Due to health reasons, Nick retired in 1989, and Steve has been running the business ever since. At Nickee’s Automotive Center Body & Paint, customer satisfaction is our number one goal and always has been. Steve takes pride in the work that is done at the shop, and he makes sure that no vehicle leaves without his seal of approval. Every collision repair, every paint job, and every service must meet his high standards for what a finished car should look like. I’m writing to thank you for the outstanding service you provided last week.
I bought my new Honda Accord into your shop for some bodywork. Originally, you quoted me a price of $ 886.16 for the repair job. When I arrived to pick up my car, however, you charged me only $ 378.42. As you can imagine, this was very good news. I can’t remember any bill I’ve ever received being less than the estimate.
You run an outstanding business. Interacting with you and your staff was a real pleasure. You even followed up by sending me a nice note.
You can bet I’ll return to Nickee’s Automotive Center if I ever need additional body work on my car. I will also spread the word to everyone, wherever I am, about the very positive experience I enjoyed at your shop.

What a find this place was. A few months back I accidentally drove through a puddle of white paint that splashed across the passenger side of our Dodge Caliber. Frustrated by the quotes We were given at 3 other auto body shops my wife and I decided we had better things at the moment to spend our money on. A few weeks ago while at a gas station some one backed into the passenger side and dented the right fender. The place we were sent to get a quote from the person at fault’s insurance company said they would do the job for $ 850.00 but it would be extra to paint the rest of the car to cover the white paint. My wife wanted a second opinion since we were getting the $ 850.00 anyways from the insurance. Thats when we went to Nickee’s and met Steve. He gave us a quote of $ 800.00 and said he would also paint the whole side of the car as well. Great we were thrilled to finally not have to see that eye sore of whit paint. When we went to pick up the car it was parked out front (the place was closed but Steve waited for us anyway) I was amazed at the great work they did. Then Steve told me he was able to fix our mirror himself and our new total was $ 500.00. I was floored, this is a honest to goodness body shop that does great work and more than fair prices, and it all starts from the top with the owner. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Thanks again Steve!

Somebody backed up into my mirror in the passenger’s side and made a dent on the door. I decided to get a second opinion on the estimate and I found this place through Unilocal.Since the moment I got there Steve was extremely nice, The car looks great and he just has a great ethic! I will definitely go back again and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone!

Warm family owned shop. The insurance company quoted me 1900. I told Steve the repair didn’t have to be perfect and that I wanted to save some money. He said he knew what I wanted and that he could do it. I was hesitant at first as I don’t have any previous experience with autobody repair shops, but they inspired trust. They did a beautiful job for 1100. They also offered me coffee, and half of a breakfast sandwich they couldn’t finish, and there was a puppy in the office at one point. They were fast too and aware of saving me days/​money on my rental car. Trustworthy, well run business that makes you feel at home!

Business must be great at Nickee’s as they told me to talk to their competition instead of working with them. It sounds like the woman I spoke to was very busy and didn’t want to spend any time trying to win my business. So it might just be a personnel issue but it has cost them a client.
I called to get an estimate for a repair. Would not give me the time of day without driving the truck into their shop to see the damage. I can appreciate needing more info than just my description. Which is why all the other body shops I talked to are happy to have me send an email to see the damage. From there they can give me an idea of time and cost for the repair.
I wish I had all day to drive around town getting quotes but I do not.

Very happy with the service and the price. I was recommended to this place by a friend. My car was very badly damaged and now it’s good as new. I was expecting to pay an arm and a leg, but they were very fair and didn’t over charge. Everyone was super friendly. Great body shop. I would definitely recommend this place.

I needed the back of my Mazda repaired, it was badly damaged but I wasn’t desperate. I wanted to wait until I found a great place that I trusted and could afford. I drove around for a couple weeks getting estimates everywhere in west palm and north palm. I read some reviews online of Nickee’s and made it a point not to make any decisions until I stopped in here.
Right away, I liked the place. I was greeted immediately by the friendly Sofia, and her and her husband were a delight to deal with. I got an estimate in minutes, at least $ 1000 less than some other estimates I received. Where most body shops told me my whole tailgate would need to be replaced, they laughed and said it would be tricky but definitely possible to fix. I booked an appointment on the spot. Picked my car up 2 days later and it looked good as new! So impressed with this place, it will be my go-​to from now on and I would recommend it to anyone!

Great work from great people. A little far from my house but worth the trip! Very honest and Steve will save you lots of money. Caring family owned and always giving the lowest estimate anywhere probably in all of the country! Never have to go any further after getting an estimate from Steve. I have already brought two cars here, mine and then my father’s and both times, great job, never can even tell they were hit. Cars look like brand new when leaving this auto shop! Fast and quality at the same time. Good to know there are still some good caring people in this world and right here in S. Florida! Steve will even throw in little extras with no charge if asked.
I carry around their business cards to hand out to other unfortunate people who have had accidents. Peace of mind you will always get the best job at the best price!

I had a minor run in with a concrete pole that dented and scratched my driver’s side door. I checked 4 different auto body shops for quotes and Nickee’s was the 2nd cheapest, but the most reliable. I chose to take my car here based on other reviews I read on Unilocal and was definitely not disappointed. Everyone at the staff was friendly, helpful, and dependable. The car was fixed perfectly and on time and everything was extremely organized. The only complaints I have are that there was a tiny spot of paint that was left on my driver’s seat (which came out thankfully with a tide pen) and that there was a little (minute) chip in the paint where they had painted the scratch. Other than that, everything was perfect. I would definitely come back here again.

My car got damaged by a truck on I-​95 who left the scene so I had to pay out of pocket, didn’t want to make an insurance claim without tag info. Steve knew that this was a crappy thing to happen and his quote was the most reasonable of any I had gotten. He said he had been in the business for 35 years and guaranteed the work. I made a decision to go with his shop and I’m so glad I did. They did keep my car one extra day than originally promised because he said a little more work became involved in the repair, but he stood by the original estimate on the price. This shop has a reasonable arrangement with a rental car place should you decide to utilize it. When I got my car back I was very pleasantly surprised and could never tell it got hit. All this for less than ½ the price I was quoted at other shops. Plus Steve and his wife, Sophia, are very nice and I would highly recommend this shop for body or paint work. I brought my car here after reading the positive reviews here on Unilocal.I had some minor body damage. Steve gave me an estimate and a few weeks later, when it was convenient for me, I brought my car in for the work to be done. Steve stuck to the estimated price which was great and my car was in and out so fast, it was barely an inconvenience for me. They did a super job, you’d never know the it was damaged in the first place. Very professional. I’m delighted.

Great people. Great body shop. I had quotes for upwards of $ 1700. Nickee quoted me $ 400 and the repair came out flawless. You can’t even spot where the damage occurred in noon sunlight.
