Dr. Berl Michel resides in Palm Beach Gardens with his wife Michele. He regularly volunteers for the American Red Cross and teaches CPR and First Aid.

His hobbies include Horse riding, as well as working with the Greyhound rescue organizations of Palm Beach county.
