Jamie said he would show up to look at my pool on a certain time/​date to make an assessment for repair and service and didn’t show up. No phone call, no text… nothing to let me know.

In the past I have used various pool companies for repairs and work that was «over my head» but I always felt like since I wasn’t one of their weekly customers for cleaning (i do that myself) I would get hosed (pun intended) on the prices and service.
The other day my pump was losing prime and I thought it was going to cost me a new pump or at least an impeller and I was looking at a $ 300-​$ 500 repair. I wanted to find a different pool repair service hoping to find someone that could do the job right and still be fair with the price. I looked online and found Jamie at Irish Pool Service. Jamie told me he could make it over the next day and then called me a few minutes before he came over so I could meet him at my house from work.
Jamie was extremely professional, he diagnosed my problem as an air leak from debris getting in to my pump through a cracked strainer basket. What went from a costly repair dropped to the cost of a service call which Jamie even discounted. After that Jamie spent almost an hour going over my pool (AFTER HE FIXED THE PROBLEM) and showed me some «tricks of the trade» to help me maintain my pool even easier than I had been!
I was stunned to see the amount of time and energy Jamie put into helping me even though I was not a «weekly» customer and the very fair price he charged for his services.

The owner, Jamie, helps me tremendously if something goes wrong or if i cannot figure something out– no questions, he’s there right away to fix whatever I need!
