For Cats Only

The staff and doctors at For Cats Only are the wonderful. They are very thorough and take the time that is necessary to explain things. The practice is now under new ownership and Jeff and Stephanie Karpf have really made some changes for the better! They have boarding for cats as well and this is definitely something I tell my friends about.

This place came recommended to me. I am new to the area and needed a new place to bring my cat. I figured this would be perfect since its for cats only and they would care for her very well. I called to make an appt and was told that I needed to have all of my cats records faxed over before they would even consider whether or not they would take my cat as a patient. The doctor needed to review her history first. I thought this was very strange because they specialize in everything cats but I got all of the records sent over. A full week went by. I called to see if they received my records and if I could make an appt. She said that all of the records were received but the DR had NOT even looked at them yet. That he would look at them and give me a call back either way. Well, it is over 2 weeks later and I still have not received a call. There is nothing sorted in her history and no reason I should have not received a call back. Even if they didn’t want to take her on as a patient, the least they could have done was call me back. TERRIBLE customer service.

I was adopted by the neighborhood cat and I brought him to For Cats Only for a check up. At the time Dr. Faigen was on vacation. The attending veterinarian was very helpful and kind. She gave Fido a thorough exam and the necessary shots to bring him up to date. Months later Fido got into a fight with another animal and this time Dr. Faigen was in the house. Though his day was booked he made time to see Fido. He and his staff have taken such good care of my cat. I’m delighted to write a 5-​star review so other cat owners know where to take their cats. I highly recommend Dr. Faigen and his team.

After many visits back I am totally ready to give this place the 5-​star bomb. Faigen rocks. His staff is fantastic. It’s ONLY cats. I wouldn’t consider taking my feline friends anywhere else. Thanks for being awesome, guys!
