This is a good Chinese buffet, and the best Chinese buffet I have tried in the West Palm area. There are some good dishes, and some not so good dishes, but overall the food is good for buffet style. What makes this place better however, is the large selection. There is something for everyone, with lots of seafood items, and vegetable options. There is even American food, such as pizza and fried chicken. Also there is a large selection of sushi. This is a large restaurant so there is usually no waiting and the service is good where the only expectation really is to fill your glass. I have observed, as a general rule, this is done while you are away from the table, getting more food. This is a good value at around 10 dollars, minus your drink for lunch.

It’s a typical Chinese buffet, so I went in with low expectations. I was really surprised by how dirty and run down the place looked. The food was all pretty bland. None of it seemed fresh. And it was all kind of slimy. They need to make it a point to do a deep clean here every once in a while. The grime level is too high and it’s uncomfortable.

For $ 20 this buffet truy is crazy because you get all you can eat lobster, crab legs, clams, mussels, shrimp, sushi, sashimi and everything else! I’m sure the quality may be a little hit and miss but for us everything was very good on a Saturday night visit. Great experience and highly recommended, especially for seafood lovers!

I use to like this place but the service was horrible, we had almost finished a whole plate before the waitress decided to bring us something to drink since she was sitting down eating… And to pay $ 19.99 for lobster tails that were cold, like rubber and the rest of the menu was the same nothing extra to have to pay $ 19.99… I mentioned it to the manager and he didn’t seem to care. I will NEVER go back to this place!!! I’m only giving it 1 star because I have to give i.e. Something…

Firs off the dinning room smelled like damp moldy carpet. Food was horrible and way overpriced at $ 20 per person. The quality used to be better a few years ago. Won’t be returning.

Food was absolutely delicious tonight. I had sushi and sashimi and my boyfriend stuffed his face with glazed salmon and grilled steak. Everything was fresh and hot. YUMMMMM!

If this were the early 2000’s I would have given 5 stars. It’s just not the experience it used to be but it’s still not bad. It seems that ownership has changed several times since the heyday and it’s now cheaper. When it was a top notch buffet, weekend dinner was over $ 22 at peak price if memory serves correctly. Now it’s 19.99. Back in the golden years of Crazy Buffet you would find romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese, bacon pieces and olive oil at the salad bar. Now what you get is some standard iceberg and cucumbers with tomatoes and dressing. There are pre-made specialty salads in that area(none appealed to me) but your options for tailoring your own are very limited. There is peel and eat shrimp and raw oysters. I think the best time to go is during weekend dinner when there are many different types of shrimp dishes available, plus crab legs and lobster tails in a ginger sauce. The lobster unfortunately doesn’t last long and they take awhile to replenish it. I have noticed people stalking the empty lobster tray waiting for the new one to come out. I did witness the whole tray disappearing in seconds as soon as it arrived, so don’t expect to get any without putting in a little time. They should probably put out more at once but it’s likely part of the cost saving strategy not to. I have noticed that the plates are fairly small. Smaller than your average dinner plate but bigger than a dessert plate. Even during lunch there are lots of choices for hot food. Maybe around 20 dishes. To name a few things from the lunch menu: imitation crab cakes, more imitation crab in a clam shell, hot and sour chicken, shrimp and chicken with ranch sauce, beef and broccoli, chicken and mixed vegetables, fried chicken strips with peanut sauce, chicken skewers, mixed seafood(shrimp, imitation crab and squid in some kind of spicy mayo). The lunch menu doesn’t change much so if you come regularly you might get bored. Weekend lunch gives you crab legs. The sushi bar is extensive and pretty good. I generally go for inside out rolls and nothing raw so I can’t tell you about the freshness of the raw stuff. I can tell you that the rolls are flavorful. I have not had the hibachi here so I can’t review that. There’s fresh fruit and various mini cakes for dessert plus ice cream. I enjoyed what they called a «custard roll.» It’s like a mini custard pie. It’s on the firm side and not too sweet at all and it’s mostly filling, the crust is razor thin. Even though Crazy Buffet is not as good as it used to be, I try to forget its glorious past and still go because of the variety.

Here’s the short verdict Atmosphere: 5⁄5 Service: 5⁄5 Sushi: 3 – 3.5÷5 Seafood: 4⁄5 Buffet items: 3⁄5 Desserts: 4⁄5 Drink selection: 5⁄5 This Japanese Sushi buffet is run by the Chinese. However they’re really good at it. For an all you can eat buffet, this is about as good as you can get. I was pretty surprised by how good some of the food was. I wish the tempura was crispier but I already know that doesn’t stay crispy for long. The seafood is pretty good, some of it is average and some of it is really fresh. The service is outstanding. They will take good care of you. And the restaurant is very clean and well decorated. For $ 20 it’s not a bad deal at all.

For the money this place is still pretty good. I have to tell you this is no where near were it used to be. The food is just average and plain. I don’t know if there’s new owners from since the first time I went there but is definitely changed. Every time I come in I hope that it changes but is still OK.

It’s a Chinese buffet, it can only be so good. Not a bad place, but not that great either. If you’re crazing this food, you will be possible satisfied.

Understaffed. Standard low quality buffet food. Overly supervisory manager. When asked if they charged for soda water, we decided to only order one, he proceeded to tell us «unlimited refills, but you can’t share» and continued watching us for the duration of the meal.

I was surprised this time. Much more improved buffet bars. Clean, flavorful dishes. Not like some others that everything tastes basically the same. On a Friday night they had plenty of shrimp dishes each recipe met it’s goal in great unique flavor. The place seems clean and well kept. Even the sushi rolls had different flavor from one another. Even the soda did not taste watered as in previous times. Plenty of parking in the strip mall and the price cannot be beaten. The service was right on point. I will start going back more often and monitor it :)

The restaurant is very attractive — the waterfall, fish ponds and koi are a nice way to enter. The tree root tables in the bar area are very pretty. Food is Way better than most buffet restaurants — the sushi was actually very decent and beautifully displayed. The Chinese food sampled was also good. Desserts were a big hit with others in our group of 6 — all enjoyed the brunch!

Went with my parents and it was amazing! We know some of the owners because they also own a Chinese restaurant in Margate called Hong Kong Chinese(if you’re in the area and want Chinese take out, they’re the best!) This buffet was the best Chinese buffet my family and I have ever been to! You know when you go to a buffet there’s always at least one thing you put on your plate that you tried and said, «Ehh, it was ok.» but didn’t finish it. Neither my parents or myself had that experience at this place. All the food tastes spectacular. Textures and temperatures were perfect. Everything was flavorful and refilled in a timely manner. It was really a great experience.

Food isn’t as good as what it use to be. Have been a regular for a decade. I actually found a strand of hair in the fruit bowl and had to tell the manager. The manager said he dumped the fruit and put new fruit out. My family comes for the lobster — but even that is a hit or miss. You also have to be quick or else you’ll miss out on the lobster

Disappointing. I’ve been to better Chinese buffets in the area. Lots of choices but nothing to write home about. If my car breaks down near here, I’ll stop in, otherwise, I’ll pass by and hit another buffet.

A great disappointment! After seeing all their ads, we were anxious to try this place. The sushi was good. The mussels definitely were BAD — they had a foul taste, and we did not eat them. The soup was lukewarm — may be good for some, but we like hot soup. The Chinese buffet area didn’t have a lot to offer compared to other buffets we have frequented, and I personally did not like the ribs, at all. It seemed like a lot of space was set aside for desserts, and even these were spread around in 3 different stations. The real spoiler was a $ 3.99 charge for a pot of tea, on top of the $ 11.99 for LUNCH! The service was fair — two of us came in and we asked for ice water and tea. We received one glass of water and one teacup(which had a crack in it). Been there, done that, will never go back!
