History

Established in 1985.

Covert Security Services was established in April of 1985 in Gainsville, Florida. Originally named Home Security & Audio Inc. we only serviced those in the Gainsville and Jacksonville area. As time changed and the need for security increased, and we became Covert Security and expanded down the eastern seaboard of Florida and will service throughout the state.

The company still holds the original founder at the top, John Christmas, followed by President Tad Lamb, and COO Jeff Moran. Lamb has been in the industry in different regions for nearly 20 years and works closely with the equipment manufacturer, 2GIG Technologies, to make sure the customers have the best technology on the market today; and Jeff has has just over a decade of experience installing, sales, and customer service with some of the giants of the industry. Together, they create the atmosphere needed give the consumer the best product and service you can get for your needs.
