Great happy hour. We had the lettuce wraps and the chicken parm sliders. I recommend the wraps I wish the chicken parm sliders were breaded chicken almost like cutlets. They were grilled chicken with a little sauce and a tomato. Drinks were good and so was service. I loved sitting outside. Great place!

Came in for a quick beer, ended up staying longer than planned just to hang out. AJ, the bartender was extremely helpful and informative on top of providing excellent customer service…

Delicious Hummus appitizer dip with pita bread, cucumbers and carrots. Although not as good a real Greek… still did the trick.

Cold beer, like everywhere else… Cool upper level, nice bar back, bar tender didn’t care about clients. Food was SLOW, like snail slow… Came out cold and we asked for a reheat… Took way too long. Chef came out and apologized– very professional reaction and is working hard in the back. Needs, I repeat NEEDS better FOH help… I had one star originally until the chef came out personally apologizing for the inadequate service. He is the only reason I would reconsider a second visit, help your runners or servers, overwhelmed with their sections and under staffed. Do you want to be a restaurant or a bar& restaurant? Make a decision please.(2÷20÷1622:40)

We actually give it no stars. We came in to eat lunch during Fresh Fest downtown. We were 3 adults and 2 children, 7 year old, one of which has cerebral palsy and is in a wheelchair and his twin brother is a very picky eater. Our little boy wanted a 6″ meatball sandwich a couple of doors down from your restaurant. Us adults of course wanted a nice sit down lunch. We were ready to give our order when our server came over and saw our little guy eating his sandwich & she said that’s not allowed. We said we we going to get fries and a drink for him a give our order a well, 3ADULTS, she said that didn’t matter! Mind you our other little boy is in a wheelchair getting his lunch via a feeding pump, unfortunately. At this point, my husband asks what’s your policy regarding that? We asked for a manager. She said she was the manager. So we left with my little boys meatball sandwich in search of a another restaurant on clematis that wouldn’t mind serving 3 adult lunches, cocktails, fries and a drink to go with my boys sandwich and my other sons feeding tube. I will forever hate Bar Louis!!!

Sat outside. At 5 pm. Waited and waited for service. No one came out to wait on us… went inside to tell them we were out side. Still no one came out. We left

Nice place but several times now I’ve ended up waiting for almost an hour just to get DRINKS! Only come here if you have a few extra hours to spare… You’ll end up chewing your arm off waiting. SUCH slow service. :(

I always have a good time here. The dim lighting makes it a great spot for fun dates to have a drink or meal. Sometimes there’s music so prepare for close up convos, aka brush your teeth and chew gum. The drinks are fairly priced for a bar and the food is decent. I enjoyed a rum cake I had. The burger was good and I really enjoyed the fries.

This is one of the worst managed places ever. They really are clueless. Food is decent for bar food but it takes an hour to get tater tots! Really? Terrible.

This is a chain and you pretty much get what chains give you. You can usually count on everything being the same; same flat bread, same appetizers, same drink specials. I do like their flat breads though and their steamed dumplings were very good. It’s a good place to pop in have a drink, have an app and go on to the next place which is what I like to do downtown.

We were meeting a group for a quick bite then some glow in the dark putt-putt downtown. We’ve never been to Louie’s and had no experience with their menu. I opted for the shrimp lettuce wraps, because I don’t like very heavy food at the end of the day. I envisioned the type of lettuce wraps you find at Cheesecake Factory… guess I should have understood that this was first a bar, and secondly a food venue. Not much of what came to the table was very impressive that night. My wraps were a bit on the pathetic side, and nothing I’d order again. Actually probably wouldn’t return. Too many other spots on Clematis to choose from. The drink was tasty – coconut lemonade – best part of the meal.

The location is premier, the décor is very nice. The service was good table side, but the food prep took a very long time. We meet as a group of 18. Only 6 ordered food but we were the first to arrive. We had the shrimp lettuce wraps(ingredients make your own). Mine was chicken hers was shrimp. Both very tasty, took forever. 30 minutes at least. We had the coconut mint lemonade for a drink. EXCELLENT. As we were leaving I noticed there were 10 people outside and 2 inside. That’s about 10−15% occupancy. So when it is really busy I would expect longer delays. Average at best.

I had the burger sliders and it was the driest burger I have ever had in my life. The martinis were amazing. I would only come again for drinks.

Our group ordered 2 burgers and salmon sliders. All the food was dull, and the salmon sliders made me sick later on– my body physically rejected that fish(vomit). Not to mention that for the blandness, the food was really overpriced. Don’t think we’ll be going back anytime soon.

Well… San Antonio’s Bar Louie beats West Palm Beach Bar Louie hands down. We ordered hummus as an appetizer to with our Martinis and server came out and apologized that the cook had stepped away and there was a delay, «cancel that please». Sorry but this was not our best review of paces to visit on Clematis Street.

Does the world really need another Bar Louie? Let me rephrase that. Does the world really need another mediocre, sports-themed, overpriced-for-what-it-is, bland-food bar/restaurant? No. And the only reason this outpost of BL gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because their beer list was DECENT. Our waitress was in and out of our lives too much — when you needed her, she was no where to be found, when you didn’t, there she hovered. Food was terrible. I regret eating anything from this location because it was bland, overcooked and not worth the money. I had the Louie-style burger with a turkey patty and I couldn’t find the spicy giardiniera to save my soul. And that’s the reason I got the damn burger — for the spice of life, yo. No spice, lack of life. My wife had been craving pasta so she got the Tuscan chicken do-wop, and the chicken looked like it came out of a refrigerated, pre-prepped and pre-grilled bag of sick. I mean, my expectations weren’t high for this Florida-outpost of blah, but I’d suggest you dine elsewhere on the lovely little strip and avoid this so-so chain.

Even with the great location and the name recognition, a dump is a dump. One server on a Sunday at 1pm? Taking forever to get alcohol out to paying drunks like me and my woman? Bringing out our entrees at different times? Sound the fire alarm and start over. Your management team is inferior.
