My elderly aunt came out of the hospital following hip replacement surgery. I was concerned about her going home alone (as opposed to going into assisted living or rehab which I originally wanted) since I can’t be there 24⁄7. I called a few home care companies and was pleasantly surprised to actually reach a real person (the owner, I believe) at Avalon who patiently walked me through a process I know nothing about. The home health aide they sent made me happy I didn’t push harder for my aunt to go into assisted living, and her recovery has gone very well. I’d definitely recommend Avalon to anybody looking for knowledgeable staff/​owners who are happy to help.
