I cannot believe we wasted out money at D&B this past weekend. The food was so-so and the service was horrendous. My 7 yr old daughter wanted Mac&cheese. For $ 6, she got a small bowl of the crappy boxed stuff. It didn’t even look like Kraft but rather the Shop Rite brand of mac & cheese. $ 6? really D&B? Also, no one explained that when you order from the menu, the game card is a little cheaper. Nice way to get more money out of everyone. Would never go back.

Absolutely atrocious. We came there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday with a group of her friends. We had a party of 8. They don’t take reservations, so we arrived at 5:15pm and was told there would be a 90 minute wait. So we bought everyone a game card($ 200) and played games as we waited for our table. After waiting two plus hours, we gave up and left to go have dinner somewhere else. This place was a complete mess and is poorly run. The hostess was unapologetic about the the long wait and we simply were never given a table at all! I will never set foot in another Dave & Buster’s ever again. If I could give zero stars for this review I would.

Place to go to play kid for a night! But wait — there are kids there! Often when we are in the Palisades Mall we will stop here for a drink and a round of games. You think it is an arcade for grown ups, but kids are welcome. So often times you have to fight off some crazy kids to get a turn at a game — but if you can look past that its still fun. Also — Don’t think that past a certain time the kids go away ha– I’ve been there late at night and some parents will still be out with their kids. They drink at the bar while the kids play — I guess win win and 5 points for smart parents haha! FOOD — the food is nothing special and taste like it was just heated up in the microwave somewhere in the back. You do NOT go here for the food. You go here to play some games and have a drink or two.

I like Dave and Buster’s because it’s a fun place when you are tired of the movies, fancy dinners and bar scenes. You can have a drink, play some games and eat some food. Saturday was my second time coming to Dave and Busters in about four years. So I wasn’t sure how much things have changed. The last Dave and Busters I went to was in New Jersey so I wasn’t sure if they were all the same or not. However, needless to say I was extremely disappointed when I left here. I remember a much more positive experience. 1) The bar scene was actually impressive for Dave and Buster’s. Some of the drinks they made were actually pretty good. They had a nice variety to choose from and we definitely had a few too many maybe because we started to feel it towards the end(not a bad thing!) I was happy with the place drink wise. 2) I agree with some of the previous reviewers. There were a lot of children running around. It got a little chaotic because they were so many games that had a long wait just to try them. I don’t mind children however. You have to expect it at Dave and Buster’s. And yes they constantly bump into you. However, it wasn’t really their fault because the place is cramped inside with all the people and chaos. 3) I was VERY disappointed with the games they had. When you first walk in it looks like a lot but it really isn’t. Only one side of the room has actual games you can win tokens in. The other side are games just to play for fun without a prize. The games they had to play for tokens were kind of played out. I remember the last dave and buster’s I went to being much bigger and having more of a variety. Some of the games were nine tokens per game which really wasn’t fair because it took up a majority of the points. So needless to say I wasn’t happy with the small variety of games. Also, the prizes they had were kept disgusting. I mean does no one in the place ever clean the cups or mugs? There was literally nothing to choose from that didn’t look like it came from a dollar store. The best prizes were worth an insane amount of points that made no sense. You could buy it in the actual store for that type of money. So I ended up looking at mugs and cups with my boyfriend(because I am a huge tea and coffee drinker). They were plain and boring but I figured why not and looked inside. VERYDIRTY!!! Geez do they not clean them out? There was literally dust and mold looking sh*it inside of it. 4) I also agree the employees looked unhappy. I had a question about one of the games and the boy working inside the game room literally rolled his eyes at me. I don’t understand why he wasn’t doing anything and I was very polite. None of the people working inside the game/prize area really smiled or looked happy. I guess the place is so chaotic it drives them crazy. Maybe can’t say I blame them. 5) The food was eh. Probably won’t eat there if I ever return again. Would just grab food before hand in a different restaurant. The food was probably worse than like an Applebee’s or Fridays but better than Fast Food. That’s my comparison of it. The food tasted frozen and just wasn’t that appetizing. Definitely wouldn’t have it again unless I was forced to for some reason.

Not sure why there’s so many poor reviews. Yes, there were a lot of kids running around– but it didn’t bother me, I love seeing kids & families having fun and spending time together! My boyfriend and I came here on my birthday(12−23−15) around 7 o’clock. We had dinner and drinks before playing games. Everything on the menu looked great. We asked our waiter for some recommendations and he recommended the Hottie burger, which my boyfriend got. It’s a double cheeseburger with diced & pickled jalapeños, bacon, peppers, spicy queso, and cheese with a side of French fries. I took and bite and to my surprise it wasn’t too spicy. My boyfriend asked for medium well. One pattie was cooked medium well and the other one was medium rare. He wouldn’t send it back, so he ate it as is. I had the buffalo chicken bleu cheese burger with tater tots. Delicious and hugggge. Holy carbs! Can’t believe I ate that entire thing. We had coronaritas for drinks and they were delicious. My all-time favorite drink! The food came really fast and our server was good. I told him it was my birthday and he just looked at me funny. I’m surprised Dave & Busters doesn’t give birthday guests a free game play or something. Oh well… The food is good at a reasonable price. They added a bunch of new games since the last time I’ve been at this location. It got a lot better! ½ price games on Wednesdays which is a great deal. By the end of the night we were all gamed out. The gift shop has some nice prizes but most of them are for little kids. We had 2,500 tickets which is a good amount but what are me and my 28 year old boyfriend going to do with batman walkie talkies? We ended up giving away our tickets to a little boy and his family and said Merry Christmas! :) Dave & Busters is always a good time! I will definitely be back here :)

I went there on a weekday during lunch time with my wife and child and decided to eat there as well. I walk to the entrance of their eatery section and no one was there to take us in to eat. we stood there for long time that my 3 month old was able to drink entire baby bottle. My wife had to go look for someone while I waited to see if anyone would show up. She was able to find the person at the card refill station at the video game section to help seat us. we sat down and ordered our lunch special. We chose the powercard special. It was about 30 each. I ordered the steak bistro alfredo, my wife ordered some sort of mac and cheese. when the food came i was disappointed but then again this is a game place not a 5 star restaurant. my steak came in 4 extra small pieces on top of a pile of alfredo and pasta. so much for the«steak» bistro. Overall this was not a great dining experience. I recommend just come here for the games. I gave it a 3 instead of 2 because of the games section. for a lunchtime during a week day this place is heaven because all the games are open and not a crowd at site… unless ur at the bar.

Came here for a family evening out. It’s dirty, and complete madness. Had dinner at the sports diner they have. Appetizers were cold, and arrived 25 mins after ordering. Dinner came, again cold, not ketchup, service was slow. Waiter never checked on us for refills or anything. Had to beg for our check. We may return but only for games. Eat somewhere else.

Came here Sunday for a little change of scenery, should have come later, filled of kids running around and bumping into people, legit out of control. I’m guessing that’s expected but annoying nonetheless. Whoever said employees looked like they didn’t want to be there was exactly right LOL. Staff wasn’t helpful or welcoming, I haven’t been there in a while and never saw the new desk they added to purchase your card to play, we looked over and just walked by, not a hello or anything so it was a little chaotic. We ended up just going to the sports bar they had there, to watch the game, the bartenders were a bit pushy really didn’t even give us time to finish a drink. They were very consumed with the games playing, people were coming up to the bar and weren’t be tended to, but luckily we sat where they were all huddled. The drinks were extremely watered down and sweet, the margaritas were filled of mix and the berry block drink was diabetes in a cup. We called the bartender out and he finally made us a drink worthy of the price.

Went here last night(Saturday) for a friends birthday. There were seven of us, we opted to sit by the lounge bar, which was fantastic! Lots of tables and chairs, the place wasnt too packed for a Saturday night. Our waitress was attentive, got us our drinks right away and answered any questions we had. The food was pretty good, we all got different dishes, and everyone enjoyed them. After dinner we went to check out the games. Lots of staff on hand to help with whatever you may need, quite a bit of security too. It wasnt over crowded luckily either. All of the games were in working order. There was something for everyone! My only complaint would be the music in the games room can get kind of loud. At a couple points it was hard for all of us to talk to each other over the music. But that was minor issue. We would come back again thats for sure!

One star off for the lack of people working. We always had to wait for the guys to finish what they were doing and notice us to help us redeem tickets. I did appreciate that there was always one person cleaning the place. The bar was nice and the establishment itself was huge! A couple of the games were broken and one even broke on us, but an employee was nice enough to give us credit on another machine. The kid in me will definitely be back! Don’t forget half off games on Wednesdays!

I love DnB! Food, alcohol and games! What’s not to love? They’ve done away with the pesky tickets, everything is now electronically loaded onto your card. Half price games on Wednesdays!

We were starving and new to the Palisades Center and weren’t familiar with the eateries, so we took a chance here. I had salmon that was nicely prepared and cooked. Very appreciative of getting double veggies instead of carbs and veggies. My companion enjoyed her meal as well. It’s loud and we were seated a bit closer to a pre-teen birthday party than I would have liked. Nothing horrible happened and it quieted down quite a bit when they went to play games. My glass of wine came with lip marks and the server peered at it and gave it the eyeball like she couldn’t see it, but still, she took it back and returned 10 minutes later with a sparkling clean glass. I wouldn’t put this on my regular restaurant list, but it hit the spot and I was impressed with the quality of the cooking.

Feeling like I need the CDC to decontaminate me after visiting their ladies’ room. And cleaniless isn’t exactly the biggest issue at this Dave and Buster’s when customer sevice is taken into account. The night started off well. We were in the company of friends … on a Friday night … pay day to be exact! And then we were given Sarah as our waitress in the separate dining area. Perhaps she was doing some OT or maybe covering for another co-worker or maybe she made enough tips that night to simply not give a flying you know what. Simply put, her customer service skills need some serious work. Not once did she crack a smile. Instead she often came across as being agressive, unfriendly and unhappy. And everyone at the table noticed. It’s Friday night and I’m here to have a good time … can you pretend like you’re having a great time at D&B in hopes that I will too? Avoid Sarah! Period. And then there’s the ladies’ room. It looked like a warzone. No toilet paper in most of the stalls. There was(what appeared and smelled to be) pee all over the floor(and seat covers). One of the stinkiest bathrooms I’ve ever come across. The checklist towards the entrance of the bathroom is almost laughable as nothing was written on it only confirming that no one came by that night to check the stalls let alone clean it. Food was short of spectacular, drinks were watered down. Service at the bar inside the game room is sllooowww. Oh and by the way, prepare to be carded just about every time you even make contact with a D&B employee. I understand there’s kids running around but if the main concern is liability, have us 21+ wear wristbands. As far as I know, Dave and Buster’s is advertised as a place for ADULTS to stop by for food, games and drinks. It’s tedious to constantly have to show ID when one of us orders a few alcoholic beverages. The selection of games isn’t the greatest but we managed to find a few good ones to keep us entertained. There was a wait time for some games but nothing too over the top where I was left standing around looking like part of the décor. In summary, I’d return only with a full belly and empty bladder!

They really up’ed their game in renovating this place. It was, unsurprisingly, SUPER packed for President’s Day. It’s one of those places where kids and adults can both enjoy something — drop them kiddies off and get yourself a drink at the bar. I like the bar area. I didn’t actually get to play any games this time, but I’ve been to this D&B about 4 times now, and it’s made an excellent, fun day date. I’ll be coming back, but not on a weekend. I can’t breath in here. There’s a coat check in when you walk through the front, and you SHOULD definitely check your coat in — a 5 year old isn’t going to remember where they put their coat, nor a 50 year old — the place is a jungle!

Dave and Buster’s can be a really great way to spend a cold night and since this location is in a mall, it seems very ideal. However, after spending a Saturday night here, I really wanted to call this location Dave and Busted, because half of the machines we tried to use did not work. This caused us to spend way too much time trying to find someone to fix it. Even though I have been to other locations on a Saturday night, it seemed as if they didn’t have enough games. So we had a wait for most of the games. The coat check closed way too early. Shouldn’t it close when Dave & Buster’s closes? Everything seemed like a huge waiting game. I was pleased with our server Justin, he seemed to be busting his butt trying to get us and everyone around us drinks. So if your favorite game on a Saturday night is waiting, this place is for you.

First of all, the 16 year old coat check girl, Jazmin– was probably brain dead. It’s beyond me how they had such a clue less girl working on a busy Saturday night. The line was super long. I over heard the people before me having to tell her what kind of coats they had. Apparently no one taught her how to match numbers! Longest line ever, felt like the DMV. I expected the bar to be busy, but I was also hoping to get a drink at some point. The bartenders were horrible, and not friendly. Then Reuben came over and he was a rockstar bartender. Literally the only bartender that could multi task and actually help the guests, I was impressed by his hard work during such a busy hour. The bathrooms were so gross. The games were pretty fun, but I guess I was just expecting more. But overall an ok time!

NOt enough games for adults! They need more! I havent been here in 2 years, for the most part its the same, i really love the 4 person air hockey game they have and the trvia game that about 8 people can play(this is in the front of the game room). Cant forget about the beer pong game – that was pretty sweat. Dont waste your time on winning tickets, the prizes suck and are way too expensive. However, i did enjoy the drink specials they have going on during game days. You can get a 22 oz of Coors or Miller for 3.50, with that you can get a shot for $ 3 of either Jack, Patron, Fireball and somrthing else(cant remember, it must be something i dont like!) Mac n cheese was simple but okay(no bacon!) for about $ 4, and the tomatoe and feta cheese soup was alright. What can you expect from a place like this? Deff nothing too gourmet.
