Great place to get out of the city and spend some time on the river. Pretty reasonably priced and friendly staff. Definitely for the outdoorsy person. We also camped over night. It has been our third year doing this, and I would recommend it to anyone. You can bring a cooler of beer too if you wish, just keep it in the cooler. Great place to enjoy the outdoors.

We just had a lovely float down the river! The staff was very helpful and friendly, and we felt very secure with the whole setup.
The scenery is just beautiful. What a lovely way to spend an afternoon. It’s also a good workout!
It’s a very pleasant activity for the whole family… leave the cell phones on land and enjoy each other and nature.

I came here on a cool Sunday afternoon with family to do some kayaking/​canoeing. Yough Canoe was very friendly and had very reasonable prices. We met them at the shop and then they drove us (and our dog) in their van to Cedar Creek Park in Rostraver Township. This area of the Yough is absolutely beautiful (minus the occasional loud train that goes by). The waters were very calm and easy to navigate. It was truly a wonderful experience that I hope to repeat again, especially in the fall. Upon returning to the shop, we guided our kayaks in and Frank and company took care of everything. We all just loved it. I definitely recommend this for all families in the area and anyone looking for a leisurely paddle along the scenic Youghiogheny River.
