She also has years of professional experience in two different countries prior to opening her salon. Morning and evening appointments are available by request. Open Sundays by appointment only.

Established in 1997.
hanna has been in business since 1980 before she became the owner of hair by hanna, she had managed quite few family owned salons in the boston area, piccadilly hair design, clemente coiffure and ultra cut.

Hair by Hanna is a family oriented, neighborhood salon located in West Newton, MA. Hanna Benshabbat has owned and operated the salon for over eight years. Hanna has a diverse and multicultural clientele that travel far for a variety of services. Hanna and her associates speak four languages and are very well versed in all topics; family values, current events, and the most up to date hair and makeup styles. Prior to launching Hair by Hanna, Ms. Benshabbat managed several salons in the greater Boston area including Piccadilly Hair Design, Clemente Coiffeurs and Ultra Cuts in Brookline. Hanna has been a licensed hair professional for over twenty years in two countries and is continuously updating her skills with classes and seminars to keep current with today’s styles. Hair by Hanna has extensive experience in coloring, perms, hair straightening, and waxing. The salon also offers a variety of tanning options; from traditional booths to the precision air brush tan.
