look elsewhere not good on follow up, they don’t return calls

My wife and I were new to the area and visited designer cabinetry to look at upgrading a kitchen for a newly purchased house just west of Boston. I’ve been in the area since college and this is my first house so I was looking to take it slow and be careful about the purchase. I went to Ron and was really impressed with the rapid designing and the use of hand drawn sketches. I’ve dealt with CAD a lot but there is something more personal about hand drawn sketches.
We ultimately decided to go with designer cabinetry after getting a great quote and interacting meeting with most of the staff. The kitchen installation went smoothly and Frank, the lead installer, was really skilled. During the install all of our calls were returned quickly The kitchen came out immaculately and we were really happy with it during our 2 years in Boston. When we decided to sell the place and move to the bay the kitchen upgrade was a major component in the appreciation of the house. Overall was very happy with the work and the professionalism.

I visited the Newton Designer Cabinetry store with my wife and met with Ron Lewis. He then visited my home to take a look at a home bar that we were designing. We spent roughly a half hour going over options and layout etc. Ron left my house and said he would get back to me.
That was a month ago… I called and left a message but he never called back…
Thanks for wasting my time Ron and for not calling back! Very unprofessional and extremely poor service. How do you stay in business treating people like that? You get an F–

My husband and I were very interested in doing business with this company. The owner and his wife seemed pleasant when we visited the showroom. The owner showed us around and made a few suggestions about what might work in our bathrooms that we would like to redo.
He came out to our house and spent about a half hour measuring and discussing the remodeling work. I got the impression that he wasn’t that interested because it really isn’t that big a job.
I called about 3 weeks later to find out when I would receive the plans. He remarked that he was glad I had called and would put the plans in the mail to be received by that weekend. By the following Monday, nothing had arrived. I then called and left a message with the receptionist. That call was never returned. My last attempt was to leave a message directly on the owner’s voice mail. Still no reply.
I am appalled at the lack of respect this man demonstrated towards us. Not a great way to keep or get new customers. I would not recommend this business. The owner obviously is not interested in small jobs, even though it might bring in more business from recommendations.
Very disappointing…
