Dancing Feats Swing & Ballroom Dance Instruction

Great crowd every time, a LOT of fun, free parking and great lessons. I’m not that experienced in West Coast, so dancing amongst some of the best on this coast is sometimes intimidating, but most people are very welcoming. Neal Klein is absolutely wonderful, as well as the advanced lesson instructors (Mark and Steph I believe?)
There always seems to be a random two-​step song placed sometime throughout the evening, which I’m not into, but it’s an interesting change of scenery.
Personally I’d like more jazzy music, but I know this isn’t lindy hop.
Third saturday every month! Go!

Would have given it a 5 star if there was air conditioning but everything else was great.
3^rd Saturday of the Month West Coast Swing dance, in a hall, attached to the First Unitarian Society church. Ample free parking across the street. $ 10 for the West Coast Swing dance lesson from 8−9pm then the dance is 9−12am. Great DJ the 3^rd Saturday I went this month in June. I think her name was Missy. She played blues and slower smooth contemporary and top 40’s, which was great in that heat.
Neal Klein, the host of the dance is very welcoming. I was a WCSwing dancer visiting from California and was definitely welcomed and asked to dance by the locals. They played other music too, night club two step, cha cha and country western two step. Great turn out, looked like around 100 – 150 dancers, mostly beginner and intermediate level west coast swing dancers. Heard this is the best West Coast Swing night of the month and week.
There is the definite ‘dancer’s” corner near the front of the room where the stage and DJ plays. Meaning, the hot shot, advance and all star level dancers will dance. The rest of the dancers dance throughout.
There is a large kitchen with free snacks and drinks, this place gets so hot, there is a 4×4 foot cement patio that leads to the outside that is the definite cooling area. The floor is awesome if you love to spin but if you don’t have control, be careful, you can slip. A small sitting room to change your shoes and leave your belongings and ample women’s bathrooms.
I had a great time and would definitely go again.
