Food was decent. Not the best BBQ, but not the worst, but one of the few, or maybe only bbq joints out that way. Some of the meat was kinda dried out, like other Unilocalers were saying. The kid working there told me they only roast such and such a meat this day, then another meat that day, which could be why the meat gets dried out. The brisket was good, but the chicken was dry, so maybe the brisket was fresher? I think I liked the meat less, but sides better than the Pittsburgh BBQ Company in Delmont. The real redeeming quality was the price. You can basically feed two people for $ 10. We spend $ 18 on two meals for 3 people, and we had enough leftovers for the next day. You can’t beat that, but maybe ask them which meat they smoked that day so you know what you’re getting is fresh.

So I’ve been to their old location multiple time and was never very happy. Today I went I had ribs, potatoes, and corn bread. The ribs were beyond dry and had the sauce on them already. I always prefer to try the ribs with out sauce first but that wasn’t an option. They had them in a warming container so sl sanitation was not an issue as other Unilocaler said. The cornbread was also dry. The only thing I liked was the potatoes. If you choose to go I would stay clear of the ribs I’ve never once had good ribs here. Doubt I’ll be back.

Tons of flies next to open food. The ribs were not fresh at all and the meat was very tough. They need to take care of their sanitation issues.
