Nicholas Manuel Torres was born on 7÷31÷1967 in Passaic, New Jersey. The son of Dr. Jose Manuel Torres, DDS and Josefina S. Torres, who emigrated from Cuba to the U.S. in 1961. In 1989, he earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree, with a major in Criminal Justice, from Seton Hall University, in South Orange, New Jersey.

In 1994, he earned a Juris Doctor Degree From Brooklyn Law School, in Brooklyn, New York. From June 1993 to February, 1995 he was employed as law clerk at the Civil litigation firm in Hackensack, New Jersey and was involved in assisting attorneys in the representation of accident victims From February 1995 to the present he has worked as a civil litigation attorney prosecuting hundreds upon hundreds of claims on behalf of accident victims.

His work has been concentrated in the areas of automobile negligence claims, fall down accidents, cases involving defective products, lead poisoning cases for minors and employment discrimination cases. He handles all phases Civil L
