Terrible terrible terrible. Only in this place can you not order food in advance when you’re pressed. Management did not care. Servers were clueless. We order from here every week and suddenly rules change. Do not recommend.

Ok…, picarones to thick, arroz chaufa or fried rice toooo greasy, lomo salteado was greasy, service ok. I definitely do not recommend it.

Visited for lunch on a Saturday, at around 12:30pm, just half hour after their opening. Me and my wife were the only ones in the whole place. We ordered within a normal timeframe, although, considering we were the only ones there, it did take longer than expected. When we finally put the order in, it took too long to get our food. My wife only ordered a tamal because it was me who was hungry, so I ordered a cebiche for me. The food took at least 15 mins to get to our table. I got the cebiche first, then, after 5−7minutes, my wife got her tamal. Just as soon as she started to eat it, she noticed the inside of the tamal was cold. And when we say cold, we mean COLD, not warm at all — as if they took it out of the freezer and put it into the microwave to reheat for a minute only. Then it tooks us another 5 – 10 mins to be able to get the attention of our waitress, who was nowhere to be found, or clearly texting on her phone in the back, where we could see her but she was not looking at us. They took the tamal back to the kitchen, without any apologies whatsoever. Then I ate the entire cebiche for a good 10 – 15 mins and no tamal back yet. When I asked the waitress, she said they were making a new one — really? We asked her to cancel it. She said to wait for it, as if contradicting my request to cancel it. She then gave up and brought me the check. For a $ 20 cebiche, it was not a lot of food at all, plus it was not that spectacular in flavor either. The service was the worst I’ve seen in a while. I do not recommend this place.

I used to loove coming to this place with my family, but since they moved(don’t know if only changed location or maybe management too(?)) the two tries that we have gave them, were kinda disappointing. Main entrees were eh, ceviches were good though. Our server, a lady who sadly I didn’t hear her name at the beginning(mainly because she didn’t mention it) barely talked to us, didn’t give us a smile or a welcoming gesture, and stayed around staring at us while we had our check. Gotta improve a little bit in your server training! Trust me, I’m a server. I know the struggle

The most amazing Peruvian food I’ve ever had!!! Great service and nice atmosphere. We had several dishes to share and we couldn’t decide which one was the best… Exquisite!

There being an Aromas del Peru by my house I’ll have to say this wasn’t anything stellar compared to the chains’ counterparts. While the presentation of the food was yummy and cooked perfectly, the waiters and waitresses seemed confused, forgetful and disinterested in socializing with customers, forgot to bring us things we asked for three times, made a billing mistake, and there were teeny tiny pieces of SHELLS in my arroz con mariscos which made eating it feel like a chore. I would only come here if I was truly desperate for Peruvian food.

Great food! I love the tallarin de churrasco, regular churrasco, and aji de gallina. My boyfriend had the jalea personal and it was full of seafood. It’s definitely a generous amount for a personal size.

I came here to meet with my friend who had a short stop over in Miami, and this location being close by the airport is perfect. This place is certainly more modern and spacious than most Peruvian restaurants. Service is friendly, and the menu is rather extensive. We enjoyed very much the jalea mixed, even the personal size is plenty for sharing. Ceviche variety is not as many as some other places but it’s solidly done. The octopus is tender and flavorful. Our favorite is the lomo saltado tacu tacu. The rice and beans, fried and slightly crispy, is so delicious topped with the sauce. In fact, the tacu tacu is the best rice and bean combo I ever had, I won’t mind just eating it as a meal by itself. And oh the llama by the door is so adorable I want to hug it like a five-year-old.

I ordered take out. I odered 1 leche de tigre, 1 seco, and a chicha morada. Total cost for everything was $ 27! The leche de tigre was good but it came in a tiny cup(cortadito size). The $ 15 seco was sloppy! Beans were all over the place. The meat was dry. Not worth the money at all! Horrible!!! I called to complain and the manager did not want to get on the phone with me. The lady on the phone kept talking over what I was saying.

They have moved to a new location down the block. The new place is bigger inside and has more tables and chairs. They also added a sushi bar. The décor of the new space is more modern than the old location. It seems to have more parking but I find them tight to get in and out of. They also provide valet parking the weekends. The quality of the food I find it the same as the old spot. Which is a Good thing. My favorites still are the ceviche jalea, and the lomo saltado. I order the mixto ceviche of fish and shrimp. It comes with Peruvian corn, sliced onions, and a piece of sweet potato. The ceviche is cut into cubes and lime is added to cook the fish and you have the option to make it as spicy as you want. Taste great by itself or combined with the other ingredients. The jalea is fish, shrimp, mussels, and calamari that is lightly breaded and fried to perfection. The lomo saltado is sliced steak sautéed with onions and tomatoes over a bed of French fries with a side of white rice. Simply Delicious! The service is good and staff is friendly and bilingual.

Everything is still great. We had an amazing waiter named Jose who attended us today and he truly went above and beyond to make sure we knew what we were ordering. He then helped us figure out what we wanted to eat. The sangria came over quickly and was delicious! Our ceviche appetizer arrived quickly. In a few minutes they brought the Tacu Tacu over with an extra plate since we told him that we were going to share. Ask for Jose if you happen to come to this place!

New location! Excellent service(thank you Marco, manager; for a great experience!) Great food! Their Jalea for 2 is enough for 3 at a reasonable price $ 23. Pisco sours are a must $ 9. Nice atmosphere –though a bit loud. Valet parking is complimentary And their full bar has high chairs and a cozy beautiful area. Must come back!
